Just to reiterate the comments of previous episodes, hidden energy is an ability that references the newfound concept of hiding power levels, which krillin and gohan utilized frequently in the namek saga. Doto, Hidden Energy isn't a Glitch. What it does is suppress your Ki and make you invisible to the enemy's radar, BUT I think it's useless against Scouter characters, until you break said Scouter (I could be wrong about that though). Also only Gohan and Yajirobe know Hidden Energy.

Fun fact: if you go full power and charge rush towards him while holding triangle, you can start mashing square for a high damage cinematic beatdown

Doto just to help you out, hidden energy actually locks the enemy off from you if you're hiding while using it dude. Its a reference to how Gohan used it to hide from the frieza soldiers during the namek saga

Some info about some power in game. Hidden energy is to hide from the opponent when out of sight (like some post already said). But it's not working well with enemy with scooter (like base vegete, dordoria and other with one) because it's scan for the closest enemy in game. The scooter can be destroy when landing a ultimate on the enemy and because most opponent with scooter cant detect enemy ki, it's become longer for them to find and lock on opponent. For solar flair, it's not working well on BT2 or even not working at all: too short range, small hit box, slow and cant blind some enemy with sunglass or similar. For charge ultimate, the best moment to lauch them is not at the maximum. At a moment when charging it, there a moment when it's the damage peak point. I think there a visuale or sound effect that can be see or hear meaning it's the right moment. Hope that could help even a little and keep up the good work.

The only real way to use hidden energy is if you're into hit and run attacks. The reason you'd want to deplete your ki bar is because if you do your opponent will have a much harder time getting a Lock on you. Gohan actually has a use for this, though. You can hit them with Kiai Cannon to make them lose their lock, use Hidden Energy, then hide for a while until you've got a couple of Blast Stocks. Then you can use Super Unyielding Spirit and come out of nowhere with a super.

FYI, you can't hide from Scouters. Characters who have Scouters will be able to find you regardless, Great Ape Vegeta technically loses the scouter, so he wasn't able to. Only exception is Androids.

Hidden energy helps with letting your opponent loose site of you and locks off you but you can't be in front of them for it to work

Hidden energy on kid gohan when you are hiding behind the wall makes the enemy lock off....and if an enemy has a scouter they can lock on much faster and lock on when you are behind a wall or behind of something (unless you hit them with ultimate and make them lose the scouter)

Hey doto, just so you know hidden energy actually when used behind a rock when the enemy can't see you actually causes them to lock off as you hide your energy so they can't see you or sense your now hidden energy

Only just realized now that Dotto said "little does he know that doesn't work" and honestly.....being reminded super retconned it so that the dragon balls can't give immortality is so dumb. It was such a scary thing for the cast because "Oh no if vegeta or Frieza get immortality, the universe is doomed!". You're telling me the dragon would just go "can't do that" to vegeta if it happened?! That ruins any suspense not only in the sayain saga but in the Frieza saga as well

When you said he must have sensed your power or something like that, you were probably right. It is tough to get characters with scouters to lose sight of you with moves like sloae flare I think. Characters with scouters also find you really fast compared to other characters, that is until you break their scouter in battle. Then it becomes tougher. You coule probably use hidden energy to hide from scouter characters since they can track your power

I'm happy to see Dotto using the broken move that is "Throwing a bunch of ki blasts at your opponent" In the anime that move never works, but in the Tenkaichi games it always costs 2 bars of Ki and is easily spammable. Making it one of the most busted moves in the game (in my opinion atleast) with only 1 other move being even more broken than this in my eyes
