The worst part of the McAfee pack to me is... it pushes the other 2 packs I actually want further to the back of the year. Fine, waste an entire pack slot with characters nobody wants, but put it at the end.

I think CURRENT superstars should come early. Kairi being so late when she’s a woman’s tag champ is kinda ridiculous. All later DLCs should be added legends/personalities.

The McAfee pack is even worse if you live outside the US as those names are quite literally non entities and mean as much as plucking a few random people off the street and putting them in a dlc pack.

Good point about managers. If a character isn't playable, you shouldn't be paying for it. If managers are part of a DLC, then they should be a bonus on top of the playable wrestlers in that pack.

One of the biggest problems with this years DLC isn’t just the content in the packs but the roll-out. There’s no reason consumers should be getting not one but two packs lacking current stars from the company before getting the Global Superstars pack. And the fact that there’s an entire pack where the majority of it aren’t non-WWE employees when there are plenty of NXT talent that could & should have been in the game is just disheartening.

The only possible way I'll use Pat McAfee's friends is as Enhancement Talents in Universe Mode

The biggest problem I have with the DLC packs are they only include bonus susperstars. No bonus Arenas/Shows or Championships. I believe 2k games rips people off with the hype each year. They need to include more in these DLC packs!

That Global Stars pack is what all the DLC should look like. The fact that we have to wait till September for a large majority of the current roster stars is completely unacceptable. Thats the pack that should have been leading right out of the gate in May.

It's pretty frustrating that they reveal the DLC so late. I would have absolutely saved money knowing I would only use a total of 5 characters throughout all of the packs. CM Punk being one. The rest of them being in the September pack. I've been bored with the game for about 2-3 weeks. And now I'm stuck just simply waiting for DLC. Happens too often.

I’m one that likes my roster as accurate as possible. That way i can have a realistic universe and a My GM with a roster thats accurate. The fact that the biggest pack. IS IN SEPTEMBER. Is revolting. Like, i have to wait 6 months for 6 active roster members that have been on the TV for the better part of the last year.

I was so pumped to play with Nia and Kairi, mainly on universe mode. By the time the DLC comes, i'll be 2-3 months without touching the game, and then will pay for the damn pack ans start a new UM. Maybe that's what 2K wants, thinking about social media and keeping the product relevant in a longer timeline. It sucks for me.

I just honestly don't care about the pat McAfee pack. I mean, cool, his buddies are in It, but guys like Lexis King and Luca Crucifino were robbed of a spot. Here's the problem with the Pat DLC: He says he made sure it wouldn't take the place of any other content. But that's already not true because it's not the final DLC pack. This means we are waiting an additional month for the DLC pack that comes AFTER his. If his pack wasn't in the game, we would get the following DLC sooner. This only works if his DLC is the final DLC as a bonus.

crazy to think that they didn't scan McAfee's guys until late Feb, March after game was rolling out...... get some of the NXT rising stars like James, Ruca, rest of Meta Four with their entrance and couple others ..... then roll out a free pack with AOP, Andrade, Naomi, and others that came back to WWE in that big stretch of time between Packs 3 and 4

I just want them to bring back the New Moves DLC. That's always one of my favorite parts of the new WWE games is what new moves outside of WWE they add and this year was pretty thin on new moves. We didn't even get the Tequila Shot, and Tatum Paxley has been using it as her finisher since November.

If you spend $120 on a game and WWE makes said game outdated a month after release by updating all their titles and arenas, we should get new titles and arenas as part of the DLC instead of non wrestlers

The Pat Mcafee pack could have been Legends Tag team pack (they’re aren’t enough old school tag teams) Road Warriors, Freebirds, Arn/Tully, Midnight Express, Rock n Roll Express, Bushwackers, Money inc, Natural Disasters, Hollywood Blonds, Los Guerreros, The Rockers, Wild Samoans. So many teams that they could add.

I wish at this point they would go to an every 2-3 years major update releases with updates (wrestlers, attires, arenas, etc) throughout the years in between. I know "live service" is a 4-letter word, but this would be the best way for content to stay currently while holding on to wrestlers who may have left between annual releases.

The so-named WCW Pack is the one 'm the absolutely most looking forward to. DDP, Mr. Perfect, and The Great Muta. Not to mention Lex Luger and The Iron Sheik. I can definitely get some use out of that. Damn shame I'll have to wait so long for it. Pat McAfee Show pack.... kind of reminds me of when the WCW Nitro game included such classic bonus characters as the wrestling horse, Hoof Hearted, and all his friends. OK, it's better than that, but I'd still swap it out for that last one if I could.

This insufficient space issue doesn’t let me download anything in community creations and this problem has been occurring for over a month now, wasn’t able to download anything status had or any wrestlemania 40 attires , that’s all I want fixed at this point I barely play it now

For the Pat Pack, 2k if they didnt want to add more wrestlers then why not do Pat with Cole, Graves and a 4th commentator like a fun goofy 4th pack

The pat DLC I would have liked Lola Vice, Lash legend, Sol ruca & Maybe Meiko I was saying sol because cm punk is in the game so I am guessing they scanned him in the game close to the 2k release date me personally I think WWE should maybe talk about doing the scanning for 2k a little early for like if a new talent gets injured & they can’t be scanned in the game sol ruca for example if she was scanned prior to getting injured she would be in the 2k game but with pat dlc we better get new moves

The weird thing is, the packs themselves (with one notable exeption) are great! It's been a long time since we've had the likes of Sandman, Terry Funk, Carlito, Honky Tonk Man, Great Muta, etc. It's just the rollout (and Pack McAfee) that are the problems. If they just put the Pat Packafee at the end and moved up the other dates, I think it would've gone done a lot smoother.

The one thing I wish more of these videos would discuss about the McAfee pack is the number of DLC characters this year vs. last that have actually wrestled matches. We are getting the same basic number of people who've done something in WWE rings. My complaints are it should be last and should be sold much cheaper than the a la carte prices of the other packs or included in one of the other packs.

I think this is why it's so important to do free cosmetic updates in-between the Paid DLC: Creation Suite updates (new hair, new moves, etc.)

The pac macfee dlc should of been all the announcers like Michael Cole, Corey Graves Wade Barrett you know he's already in the game and then also have like the general managers as playable characters. Something like that

I think the reason that Jade Cargill's pack is in September is because Jade really hasn't had a full singles match yet. Outside of a quick squash against of quick squash against Chelsea Green. I agree Dragon Lee and Lyra should have been on the base game, but that is what it is. As for the Pat McAfee pack, I view that as a quasi new moves pack because 2K might give those guys really cool moves for my creations, which is what I use the DLC for. I've never cared who the DLC is, I care about the moves I can get for my CAWs.

Instead of the McAfee pack, I'd rather have ECW Punk Pack 2. With, say, SES or Early Punk. Raven, Dreamer, Sabu, Rhyno. Or some sort of legends pack or attitude Era pack or even NXT. I agree with you on Sherri. She did manage Macho King Randy Savage after all. Could've had the Savage vs. Warrior match that would unlock her.

By the time the all these packs are out a good number of people might be on to something else alot of wrestling gamers also are waiting for the long awaited college football game. Also as you said the dawg days of summer then real football is underway... the gaps are horrible

Hi, I think the dlc is great. My favourite wrestler is Mr. Perfect and I’m so happy that he’s in the game. The sad thing is, we have to wait until November for the WCW dlc.

The large gaps are frustrating, the previous 2 games the DLCs were done by August. Honestly for a yearly release, I thought even that was too far. The Superstars that were in the last DLC packs hardly got any play from me, because by that time I had already moved on to other games. I also hate that I have to wait until September to get pretty much any Women from the DLC, since they crammed them all into 1 pack. Ridiculous.

Lash Legend should have been in. Bam Bam Bigelow? Greg Valentine? Brutus Beefcake? Earthquake and Typhoon..LOD..OBA Femi..Sycho Sid..like there's just SOOOO many more names that could have been in other then the stupid McAfee pals pack.

They'll probably use Sandman's WWECW theme. "Enter Sandman" would be as awesome as the fact we got the Disturbed version of Austin's music. 2K had "Sad But True" on the 2K23 soundtrack, but petty sure licensing "Enter Sandman" would cost a crap ton more. Would like to hear "Bombshell" for the Dudley's music, but I don't think that will happen either, sadly.

On the note of the myfaction persona cards, it’s less than 2% per “oddity” card and apparently you need a few of these cards to unlock each persona card so, unless you’re pumping money into the myfaction side, it’s basically impossible

This seems like a thing with games now with dlc packs and stretching them out throughout the year instead of back to back like they used to, even tekken dlc have just started to be pushed back one for each season which is crazy

I agree with everything you said. But what annoys me more than anything else. Is the time frame for the releases. Especially since they're starting to cut the game off sooner to force you to get the new one. When the last pack releases it will pretty much be time for the next game to come out.

The best thing about the McAfee pack is having a bunch of slots you can replace with mods once the tools come out lol

I'm pretty frustrated with the actual DLC content although I did still pay for the season pass fully aware of what packs were coming. I exclusively play Universe Mode and with the way I play, the only packs I actually care about the ECW/Punk Pack and Global Superstars Pack.

I think it's a travesty that the most relatable pack to the current product doesn't launch until September with Jade, Dragon Lee, and Kairi Sane. But yeah we got Pat McAfee and his Goofy band of misfits that I'll never use in my game before them? Head scratching moves from 2K for sure

I think there certainly needs to be a revamp of the content within the DLC. Perhaps going forward maybe we see arenas, superstars who are either new additions to the roster or just debuted and other additions that provide anticipation and replay value. For instance: if we got managers who were in the Showcase Mode as unlockables instead of DLC, this can make these DLC packs more appealing and worthwhile. Revamped DLC: DLC = 5 superstars + 1 legend/tag team + arena from any time period (given WWE owns ECW & WCW IP) + CAW and arena parts. A pretty good revamp of the DLC release schedule could look like this: March - WWE 2K releases April - current year WrestleMania arena + DLC #1 May - DLC #2 June - CAW/CAA Parts + 2-3 locker codes (Free Update) July - DLC #3 August - DLC #4 September - CAW/CAA Parts, 1 locker code + final DLC pack. This way, players are supported with content and have something to look forward to in the meantime.

I know it sounds like it wouldn’t work but that September DLC is amazing. It would literally require the attention of ONE of those stars to call 2k out on Twitter to move it up, possibly switching it w the Mcafee pack.

The Pat McAfee pack had better come with a hell of an update to MyFaction to allow for more retro models to unlock game wide. I need retro Punk’s, SES, ECW, ect.

For the middle pack I would have done a commentary pack. Gorilla Monsoon, Jesse Ventura, and even a playable Michael Cole. To round it out maybe Johnathan Coachman and Maria. Some legends I would have loved Cowboy Bob Ortan, Ric Flair and Goldust. I know the last 2 legends are tied into contracts from other companies but it would have been cool. A few we didn't get in the packs I would have loved: ECW: Tommy Dreamer, Sabu and Rhyno WCW: Goldberg & Konnan

I remember before the game was announced there was rumors we would get Luna Vachon as dlc. I was looking forward to having her in a WWE game again, but instead we get the pat McAfee pack..

the reason for the pat dlc pack is simple pat wanted his buddies to get a pay day, and the worse part of it is players have to wait for packs that have actual wrestlers in it, the pat pack should've been last or non existent, the only value the pat pack could have is with moves, entrances and entrances music that may come with pat's friends and pat, but pat could've been thrown in some other dlc pack imo

I'm not even sweating DLC at this point and I have the season pass. I can make my own fun and keep the game fresh for myself with Community Creations but the image download limit glitch (I can't seem to download more than 600 something images when it's always been 1,000 in previous games) is preventing me from doing that at the moment. I don't even want to play anymore until this is fixed.

Honestly there's a couple of issues. Pack 1 is almost perfect. Releasing early May/late April would have been better. Pack 2 should have been for early June and should be replaced by the 5th pack, the WCW pack. Third release should have been pack 4, pushed up to late July. Pack 4 then should have been the Post Malone pack in early September. The final pack should have been the Pat McAphee one in November. Or it should have been an NXT focues one with the likes of Oba Femi, Lexis King, Lash Legend etc with Pat being the headliner.

The one hope I have with the Pat McAfee pack is that its a secret New Moves in disguise with his co hosts having a bunch of new moves attached to them

Just watching your video has made me think of something that could have made the Pat McAfee pack better. Make a gridiron pack. There are copious amounts of professional wrestlers who played football. Or even see if you can reach out make a deal with some of the football players who have had stents in the WWE. We had refrigerator Perry and LT for instance. But even if we just did the wrestlers, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Mongo, Droz and Brian Pillman are all people that seemingly are still in good standing with the company. And then it's also a way to celebrate Droz and Mongo.

Not to mention, the creation suite will have people posting CAW versions of every DLC character i want, with music, movesets, and possibly be even more accurate than the official DLC itself. PC gets mods, console gets creation suite lol It’s not the best, but I literally have 0 use in paying money for wrestlers, managers, titles, or anything I can get them for free in the community creations.

As long as Jimmy Hart has a full entrance with Hogan then I’m cool with him as a DLC but If Jimmy has no manager animation and just walks behind Hogan than that could have been in the game and not DLC

Season Pass buyers should get to have access to all DLC day 1. I understand they want to attract people all year, but we have to wait until November, for goodness sake, to fill out a WCW roster. Give me that over the Pat pack any day.

A very big miss on 2k for this stupid move. And now into the DLC packs……I do agree on that too; they need to start having the first DLC Pack to drop within a week or 2 after the game drops. Yes, I thought if the same thing when I saw the last DLC Pack doesn’t drop until the end of November. Why do we have to wait so long for that? 2k needs to fix the game from all the glitches and bugs so this game will be more fun. Now don’t get me wrong, I still play this game(Universe Mode for me). I hardly ever see any glitches. I think nose of the glitches and bugs are in Creations Suite, My Faction, Online, My GM Mode. I hardly ever see any glitches or bugs in Universe Mode. Anyway, great video. I try to watch all your videos but working 6 days a week, then when I get home, all I wanna do is just ‘Game’. So I hardly ever go to KZfaq, unless I’m bored or see a video I wanna watch.

Mortal Kombat 1 has this same issue we have to wait a decade for each DLC release and it’s so unnecessary by the time the WCW pack releases I’ll probably have forgotten about 2k24 as I’ll be playing other games.

We could also potentially get Sandman's SVR 2008/WWE Theme which is my guess and personal favourite.

Sounds like as soon as they finish launching the DLC, they'll be pushing pre orders for the next game and telling you how much better it is than what you just got.

I've been a consumer of WWE games since the beginning. In the modern era of gaming it seemed like the DLC would come out once a month or so, but now with massive gaps in between it's counterproductive in my book. I understand trying to space out the content to expand the games playability and life cycle, but this isn't it; and don't get me started on the McAfee pack. That's truly a missed opportunity.

To be honest I got sick of the game when myfaction started to make you buy packs in the hope of getting the cards needed for live events. So if the pack prices have come down I might need to take another look.

I think the two month gap is because they want to give players an opportunity to enjoy the characters for a bit before the next batch arrive.
