XX opened those doors for Peltrola, because fighters can use parts of their bodies to make stuff up, so she used her dust to create keys, Peltrola needed time and place to regenerate and there was no safest place. She wanted keys from the cadets so they wouldn't open the door and found Peltrolla.

Would I lose? Nah, I’d win.’ D’s not a Keeper nor an Executive, he’s the third party against everyone and that makes him a fun MC. He’s not on the bad guys’ side, he is D bad guy. 3:06 - Peltrola said that he was going to an empty place to recover, in episode 8. 5:55 - Peltrola left for milk 12 years ago and he returned like nothing happened. 10:40 - I guess this episode was reacted to on an empty stomach. Not many changes, except Shippo being here with D and helped protect him from Blue’s attacks (he’s dumb and instantly joined him by asking who’s the enemy), Angel having to carry Shippo to safety after he lost his drive from seeing Nadeshiko fight, D saving XX from the acid and knocking himself out from that, Yamato’s line of hoping not to run into the Executive, yet trying to save all the girls from it, and the cadets all beaten before D arrives.

I really like how D is starting to be more aware of his own feelings. I think he's been this way from the very beginning and is just realising how in conflict what he feels vs what he says and has been raised for and taught are. I don't think he's changing, more like he's starting to see who he is. I think he's always been a protector. He's a fighter and he fights because that's his nature, but he does so to protect. He thought he was doing all this to destroy his enemies and dominate, but from the start he felt the urge to fight in order to free his Duster friends and himself from the horribly unfair situation they were in. If all he wanted was world domination he would've never thought about the rest of the Dusters, much less XX who has been kind of a wrench in his plans all the time. Yet there he is thinking about all the people he feels connected to and desiring a better life for them also. He thought he cared about a "side", but in the crucial moment he's caring about individuals that he loves and wants them to be safe together with him. D is a much more loving person than he even remotely thinks. He's still being quite the tsundere about it all, but at least he's being more truthful to himself about what he truly desires.

I knew D would change his goal over the course of this series (at least what exactly his goal includes)! The characters are sooo well written! I love that they're morally grey, it makes them and the story so much more interesting🔥. Also, 10:00 the reaction to Suzukiri's weapon was so good xD!

This is a great turning point for D's character, it's really well done but my biggest issue with the adaptation is how they rush and skip so much of D's interactions with the other cadets and him learning more about them throughout the arc. We don't truly get to see how he becomes so attached to the rest of the cadets, so his decision doesn't have the same weight imo but still really cool regardless, glad you enjoyed :)

Tbh, even tho the story gets a lot more crazier and amazingly good after this arc, the chapter that they adapted here (D thinking about how the world would be under his command)....yeah, i believe it's one of my favorite chapters IF NOT my favorite. This is the turning point where he's like "i'm not on the rangers side, but i'm also not on the bosses/monsters side either". Basically, whoever wants to stop him from achieving that vision that he had, is gonna be considered his enemy LOL (and btw, that scene you can already tell D actually created bonds or became fond of the cadets - which makes me even more mad that so many dialogues with them were cut and/or rushed). THIS RIGHT HERE was where D's character became better for me. He's not my favorite, but he leveled up. He's starting to realize "hmm...maybe not all humans are all that bad". About Peltrola's tree body, I BELIEVE (i don't even know if they explained this in the manga itself) that he transformed into that a few minutes before they reached there. He's a monster after all. So i cannot allow myself to believe he was there the entire time and nobody noticed, since that room was the one the cadets would reach once the test was over. Also, the way you felt is EXACTLY like i think the author wants us to feel: we didn't like the rangers at first, and we saw the fighters as victims....but we already saw Pink Keeper is not that bad, and Blue is actual not so evil either, meanwhile monsters like Peltrola exist and kill innocent people. So that's why i said: i don't root for a specific GROUP OR TEAM, i root for certain CHARACTERS (Hisui and others i can't tell you rn LMAO). This conflict makes you take neither of their sides. PS: I LOVED seeing the junior first ranks going at it. I love people's reaction at Suzukiri's Divine Artifact....AND MY GIRL HISUI SHINED A LITTLE 😂 also, remember the JFR's Divine Artifacts are also copies from the Dragon Keepers, so Suzukiri's Divine Artifact is actually part of Yellow Keeper's one.
