Sinigang is sour soup. Can be pork or shrimp. Thats why Pinoys eat lots of rice to balance the taste.

Hi Kelly, it's me again Angelo and you know "sinigang" is sometimes considered as a comfort food because it good having during rainy days. It can be pork, prawn. fish or beef meat sinigang. The original sourness comes from the tamarind fruit but today everyone uses the "sinigang mix powder" available in any stores and markets. It has lots of veggies like string beans, okra, eggplant and water spinach while "adobo" can be pork or chicken. Enjoy your meal!
