Cheers Jade. Nice one. A brief dit about my own attempts at conversational French... way back in the 1980s while his parents took a well earned child break in a café I carried my infant godson into a Bordeaux tabac. Plenty of cooing from the staff (obvs) but I spoilt the moment when, attempting to explain who we were, I loudly declared that I was the 'Son of God'. 🙂

I saw the movie Watership Down when I was young ~ around age 11. It had a big impact on me. I also had a rabbit as a pet when I was young. He lived 10 years. I love them! They're amazing animals. All the best to you.

I didn't know you wanted to learn french. It's a fascinating language, I love the sound of it, their use of words and expressions, songs, films and culture make it a must learn language. Although the U.S. an U.K. have produced top selling stars France ranks right up there too. I was glad to know you wanted to learn the language. Love Watership Down I have it in french too.

Has the class thing in England arisen again in more recent years? I'm originally from the UK but left when I was 4 to California during the mid 70s. I seem to remember the 80s and especially the 90s, when I lived in London for a year, were times when upward mobility was much easier and the well off in general were less snobby towards normal working people. It's seems like it's gone back to the old days although I live in Spain.

How about Lewis Carroll? His stories are three - and four dimensional, absolutely amazing. My brother was in the play Oliver Twist. That was my introduction to Charles Dickens. I've been a fan ever since. Even though I only know of a handful of his books. Thank you for the vlog😊
