Octopus is lovely. When you think about it, eating the wing of a chicken ain't exactly that much different. I just want to say that, much as I have been cynical about you in the past for constantly reviewing the same things - and being dismissive about Spanish food - it's positive to see you really trying things, and I think it will benefit your channel in the long-run

cooked properly octopus is delicious. The tentacles are especially in paella. Great to see you eat more traditional food. You can eat a full English any time. Try some restaurants outside the main tourist area

Sliced waxy potatoes in cream sauce is classic tapas dish , love it . Remembering I’ve got two octopi in freezer , can I defrost them in time for dinner . Shouldn’t be too chewy though .

Very glad to see you trying new things,and I hope you keep doing it, there is a world of interesting food out there.The Octopus was undercooked should be tender,I work in seafood restaurants,and they take a long time to boil,also they should not be fishy.That restaurant was lovely,but expensive,that was New York City prices.I personally have stopped watching Full English,and fish,and chip reviews,everyone does them,and after you have watched a few,then what can you say about them that’s new,and interesting.Thanks for being brave,well done you!

I recommend mini-octopus as it's not as tough and much easier to eat, as well as being very nicely flavoured.

I like it when it is nicely cooked but for me it costs too much for what it is! Do try crumbed and fried calamari rings. They are delicious, not unlike onion rings. Worth trying. Nice seeing you being increasingly adventurous! Thank you for the video!

I was critical before about so many of the same videos so its only right i say well done for pushing the boat out and trying new things. I tried octopus once and probably wouldnt again because i dont have the teeth for it 😂

You certainly have to try the culture when in these foreign countries especially the local dishes, but € 28 for octopus tentacles, expensive.

I think I’d have had the Marinara Mussels or if it was really hot there just the steamed mussels with lemon. Then bread and aliloli and maybe some fries. And an ice cold glass of Coca Cola.

Octopus is definitely an acquired taste. I prefer it sliced small and thinly in a sauce with pasta, so you're not so focused on the texture. Great effort in giving it a go though!

Debo how could you eat that octopus it looked disgusting when I first seen it I thought the restaurant was pulling a fast one if you told them you’ve never ate an octopus before. When I stayed in Spain my friend and I stopped in a hotel so we had dinner one night in the hotel it was all in Spanish so we just decided to go for a sharing starter when it came it was a plate of different shells took one look at them I said no you could t even see what was inside. Good on you though you had a go. Love you’re videos a down to earth Englishman who likes a drink and food xx

I also Deano haven’t had Octopus all my lift until my daughter ordered it at Mythos restaurant in universals island of adventure man I had a taste and it was gorgeous so I ordered it regularly until I watched MY TEACHER OCTOPUS on Netflix doh

If you had prawns for the first time this trip, then you must have been very sheltered in your dietary habits. I suppose then you have never had calamari either? I'm not a fan of that. What did surprise me was that you didn't order a side of chips, that to me would have been a better combination. Deano, good for you to try differnt foods. Did i find it interesting and something else I wanted to watch? Not really. You do as you wish, it's your holiday break. Just be careful out there.
