Indonesia have panada too. We call it panada instead of empanadas. Exactly, it's from Sulawesi Province. It's have different style from what you think about empanadas coz the filling from tuna not beef. Yeah, if you dunno why Indonesia have panada, it's because we used to colonized by Spain and Portuguese. There's a long explanation history of it. So, i just give little bit information that can be useful for you.

Remember that the Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 accepted a lot of Immigrants from Asia 🌏 and brought their food culture to the Dominican Republic 🇩🇴. When I first saw Arabic food, I was like, wait of minutes! we Dominicans have that, too. Then I learned about our history's food.

You should go to Puerto Rico, the mofongos here are the best! Also tostones are pretty nice. I recommend you to mix mayo and ketchup (if you like mayo or ketchup obv) and add it with the tostones, its literally the best sauce imo.

As a young dominican my favourite food of all is a nice chicken taroa, i also recommend the mofongo with garlic sauce, like they cook the shrimp in a garlic sauce so good its just heaven so yeah i recommend trying chicken yaroa ormofongo with shrimp cooked with that garlic sauce
