Being from California, I'm a bit confused by what they're selling. BBQ sauce and garlic sauce need to go. No wet burritos or enchiladas? It looks a bit Chipotle.

Zambrero is the worst Mexican chain around, at least where I live. All of the food I've bought from there has been kinda gross. Last time the guacamole was straight up brown, the lettuce somehow tasted like dishwater, and their chicken is all weird and sloppy instead of being actual pieces??

Generally the farther you are from Mexico, the worse it gets. Mexican food in Pennsylvania is horrendous. Aside from Verde (which wasn't even the right color), I've never heard of any of those "sauces". Did they make those names up? Where was the salsa? It was all cream based. No pico de Gallo. Do they serve flan? No horchata or rice pudding? Mexican restaurants don't serve brownie or blondies. Sorry, I'm getting all heated. Lol.

TX here. I am dying how you think Verde Salsa is spicy. Also, being so close to Mexico, I know good Mexican and Tex-Mex. I kind of question this place as we had have places like it, but not it specifically. Very interesting to watch.

Could be a different recipe here to what you’re used to tho 🤷🏼‍♀️ don’t think it’s fresh, it comes out of bottles. Even some recipes here need less chilli powder bc ours is so spicy compared to that in the US.

She doesn’t know, seriously. He’s not great but got closer on some things. I’ve taken Spanish on and off my whole life, and my grandmother is Colombian. Zeta puts the stress in the wrong place, mispronounces the letter “i” and pronounces ñ as n.
