Boiled potatoes are great! But you have to put something inside them! They are great for making jacket potatoes or even with butter inside but yeah you can't just eat them alone.

I feel like they should have included potato smiles, baked or roast potato’s, and potato waffles (not to be confused with waffle fries). Also, as a Tasmanian, I have never heard of potato scallops, as we call them potato cakes. Lol 😂 🥔🍟🧇🍠 I don’t think they have done it yet, but they need to do a school canteen lunch orders video. Bring out the old meat and potato pies and the Big M’s and Nippy’s milks lol!! 😆😝

A potato scallop is what they call potato cakes in some parts of Australia. You get them from the fish and ship shop, definitely not the same as scalloped potatoes!! Real scalloped potatoes are way better :)

I love potato scallop which in Auckland/NZ we call a potato fritter. If the place is good, you know if you order a few, they throw in a few more. It’s great when you get fish and chips but not a fan of fish, so good! Best had with fresh bread and butter

Boiled potato was done dirty. The potential of a boiled potato is that it is a warm sponge for sauce and stews. It serves a unique role to the other preparations of potatoes featured here. A potato wedge is just an inferior fry but a boiled potato is unique.

We call the potato scallops fritters and they go so soggy and slimy. I'd rather eat a pineapple fritter/battered. We call tater tots or potato gems potato croquettes 😆. All I remember is getting 3rd degree burns on the inside of my mouth from them lots as a kid.
