At 69 and a life in fitness starting at 8years old in amateur boxing turned pro at 19 and retired at 62as a master fitness trainer. The key thing I’ve found is to move stay active and yes eat clean I think most of us know what’s good for us we just give in sometimes once in a while is ok but don’t make it a weekly habit. I take some of the vitamins in this video. Be sensible with your nutrition, the key thing I’ve found at my age of 69 is weight trining is a must start slow and and build on it your body and heart will thank you.💪🏽

Why would you take magnesium and folate? This would suggest you are not eating a nutritous diet. There's plenty of magnesium and folate in nuts, seed, beans and greens.

If you take that much Magnesium oxide and /or citrate, you're gonna spend a lot of time in the bathroom. Both are poorly absorbed, and act more as laxatives. Try Mag. Glycinate or Threonate instead. Glycinate will also help with sleep, and not give a hangover effect.

Check out the DMSO protocol. Also check DMSO with vitamin C. Both would be given intravenously. DMSO is a carrier that enables Chemo and C to be more efficiently absorbed by the cancerous cell. Chemo (bad side effects) can be cut a lot and achieve better results. Have your friend read these two books. DMSO Nature's healer. This is an old book but has valuable information. A more up to date book is The DMSO Handbook. He may be familiar with DMSO for sprains, arthritis, sports injuries but some assert that it can be used to cure stage 4 cancer. Read those books

The other thing is the magnesium it was mentioned that he took magnesium oxide? The other types of magnesium are fine but not oxide I understand that the body cannot absorb it at all, thus its use as a laxative!

GIVE YOUR SYSTEM A BREAK FROM EATING TOO MANY TIMES AND TOO MUCH OF UNNECESSARY CALORIES. SNACKS AND XTRA MEALS ARE REALLY BAD FOR SOME PEOPLE. OUR ORGANS NEED REST TO REJUVENATE AND WORK PROPERLY WITHOUT BEING DAMAGED FOR OVERWORKING ESPECIALLY IF IT DOES NOT GET THE NUTRIENTS IT NEEDS AND GET WHAT IT DOES NOT NEED. A MACHINE THAT WORKS 24/7 WILL BREAK FASTER...

I am trying to tick all the boxes in exercise routine like Zone-2(except vo2 max which I need to start on),weights,HIIT & balance. The diet chart for me, being a eggetarian turned vegetarian, is ridiculously discouraging. just 3 eggs in my lunch box and the onlookers in office started raising eyebrows ;)
@jajajajaja357
@jajajajaja357 4 ай бұрын
That's because your onlookers in the office have some neurons that still work in their brains......contrary to this DR. Attia guy. I can't wait to see how far he is coming with his 8 eggs a day!! This is ridiculous BS. Scientific studies have debunked this craziness time and time again. Animal products lead to illness in human bodies. That's simply how the facts are.

First he says to eat less then recommends 1.6 grams of protein per body weight per day. That alone combined with the necessary grams of fat to properly digest it would push the macros well above what the average person could only dream about eating in a single day. Run the numbers for a 180 lb male, similar to eating two large (16 oz) ribeye steaks, or at the minimum, 16 whole eggs a day, every day.
@dustinjan1
@dustinjan1 4 ай бұрын
Actually ... he did not say that :) Watch it again. He did not say "1.6 grams per pound of weight" instead he said "1.6 grams per KG of weight". That means a 200 lb man should have 144 grams of protein per day. Which is easily done. I try and hit 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight per day.
@rjo8500
@rjo8500 4 ай бұрын
@@dustinjan1 Well, not really. I’m carb free (carnivore), train 4x week free weights focusing on strength gains. Based on what your saying he said at 200 lbs I’d still have to consume roughly 2 lbs of boneless ribeye steak a day. Macros for that would be 2,560 total calories, 0g carbs, 216g fat, and 152g of protein. 144g vs 152g of protein is a minuscule difference. But more importantly for me a minimum of 200g of fat daily is crucial as it’s my primary source of energy. Point is ain’t nobody eating “less” to stay healthy.
@lootom2673
@lootom2673 4 ай бұрын
Doesn’t have to be meat - can be plant protein. But main reason for more protein is for building muscles and unfortunately size is negatively correlated with longevity: big dogs live much shorter lives than little dogs.
@rjo8500
@rjo8500 4 ай бұрын
@@lootom2673 Personally I wouldn’t give plant protein to my dog. But that’s just me. You do you. As far as your assessment, big people are generally big by genetics and can have enlarged hearts and other enlarged organs, complications, etc.. Yes, being a “big dog” is not always good. Obese people are big by their own doing, eating disorders, sweet tooth’s, bad food choices, lack of portion control, etc.. Type 2 diabetes is a self problem brought on by what I just mentioned. People abusing performance enhancing drugs, just like alcoholics, drug addicts, and other destructive choices, are on the outer fringes, basically live without a net. It’s difficult to generalize them. Frail people are more susceptible to die from a common virus that stronger people could possibly endure. Basically the strong have reserves. The happy medium is a person who is at a healthy weight proportional to their height and is able to retain muscle. When a person is dying of old age they usually begin to lose muscle at a fast rate. Aging is the process of dying. Plain and simple. However, there are choices that one can make that can accelerate the end result or prolong it. No science, just common sense.

My father in law is 104yo. Looks like he is 70yo. His only exercise was tennis from 10yo to 92yo. Was in the Navy in WWII. He feels ok. I feel good. She is fun because she always has a big carrot cake ready for us to eat and she luvs pizza with anchovies. She actually went to UVA too but was 5 years older so we never met. I wonder if he has tried to get a treatment for hair. He has the money to get hair because hair makes you look younger. Also, don't grow a grey beard. The truth is, people judge you by your appearance. He must be commend for the good advice he gives.

@@stefancollins971 Stefan So wait a second, somebody can go out there and aggregate information from a famous well-known longevity doctor Basically, just recycle his information calling it their own for a KZfaq channel receive clicks for monetization, and not accurately depict who the person is and when it’s pointed out, you’re either trolling or a sycophant saying somebody else does not have a life? Just actually trying to understand your position, that you would take. Then you improperly assume i don’t like the information. How am I supposed to take the information when literally the first words on this AI read article is the wrong name? Not sure you are grasping this “bro” which is to assume both of our genders Do us a favor quit trolling and learn that there are other points of view other than your own. I will be take Attia’s information from his books, his podcasts those of his esteemed colleagues like Andrew Huberman and others that can at least get his name correct and aren’t aggregating it calling it their own for clicks

@@HealthyOver50Channel my grandad smoked 20 a day for 70 plus years. His diet was bad and he was always uptight and lived to 95. Whereas my cousin was a gym going health freak who had a great diet, never smoked and was calm who died at 54. The common denominater was parents who lived almost to the same age. This I have encountered in many other people.
