I love how Foresty Forest is so good at following the rules - Rocko on a leash where required, no flying the drone where it's not allowed, etc. It really shows just how solid his character is and what a fine person he is - his parents must be so proud! This video was amazing, and scary when he encountered the bear family! I can't wait for the next one!

Wholly disagree. After all of the "bear attack" bullshit, he doesn't carry a bear can and brings a small dog. Smh. This, guy definitely doesn't dig cat holes.

I’m 71 years old now and last time I was in Canada the family and I went to whistler. That was as beautiful as the Austria and Swiss alps. This 5 day hike and the pure majesty of the Yukon Territory you hiked made me want to go there, however, sadly, I’m too old. Thank you for taking me and your subscribers along with you, it was a beautiful video!!!!

I was up in Canada this summer and there are all kinds of hikes, for all levels and tastes...don't knock yourself down, if you don't have serious mobility issues there are plenty of short hikes and easy walks to be done that are rewarding and breathtaking. I love hiking, have been doing it all my life, and I hope to be able to continue, at least to some degree, when I am in my 70s.

"Rocko's Good People", I am there with you. Thank you. Loved the way she re-positioned herself in one of the out-takes, had she decided she was uncomfortable sitting too close to the owner of the unforgiving leash? Mr Forest this week's video is a true treat with vistas, water crossings, care of companion, insights taught along the way, etc. I am humbled by your efforts and am glad you don't want the days to end either. So many watchers truly care for your well-being and with the fires in BC, the NWT, and across much of Canada I was beginning to be a bit concerned since it had been awhile since you posted a video. So pleased to know you and Rocko are okay. I share your videos with a friend battling cancer who climbed mountains in his younger years. Absolutely stunning. I just shake my head at how you (in the middle of this amazing hike and scenery) just drop a, “oh yeah, I got charged by a mama bear last week - it’s all good” and go on your way!!! Most you tubers would have strung that out for a whole episode, or two! I can’t believe you had the wherewithal to film the second encounter!

I've said it here before that Foresty Forest is always humbly impressive and a true renaissance man that's truly a man without an ego. I love how you tell the story of a life altering encounter with one of nature's deadliest beasts that was even deadlier because it was a protective mother the same way you would tell someone that you got the cart with the wobbly wheel at the supermarket. If that happened to me when I was in my twenties, I'd probably still be dramatically telling it like it happened a minute ago, and I'm in my sixties. Please, stay being you, Simon.

Whoa dude. That grizzly ordeal had me almost crapping my pants lol. In all seriousness, I’m glad the mama bear stopped. A lot of the times they’ll keep charging through the spray or yelling when they’re with their cubs. Savage beasts! Glad you and Rocko are okay! ❤ maybe carry next time 😟👀

What a spectacular and exciting backpacking trip in Kluane National Park, Foresty! It is hard to find words to describe those mountains. So beautiful and majestic. It warms my heart to know that places like this exist, where humans are the visitors, and the wildlife can live life as God intended.
