Matt the "Shield Piercing" ability completely destroys the aku shields. Meaning your CC units can actually apply freeze, kb, etc

Explanation for Shied and Shield Pierce - Aku Shields are very similar to the Barrier you would see on some Star Aliens. However, there is one big difference. When it comes to Barriers, you can only destroy them by either Barrier Breakers OR do enough damage to break the shield in ONE HIT. (Eg. Ultrabaabaa has a barrier of 266,000 health, making it impossible to break without BBreakers as no cat can do that much damage in one hit). Aku Shields on the other hand, can be broken by either shield pierce ability (like on Aku Researcher) or by dealing damage to them _over time_ . Imagine, there is an Aku enemy with a shield of 1,000,000 HP. You can either use Shield Pierce (breaking it instantly) or you can just attack it normally, at which point it breaks and you can do damage to the enemy normally. HOWEVER, the Shield WILL REGENERATE! Every time an Aku enemy with shield gets a damage knockback, their shield comes back, forcing you to break it over again. This is why Aku Cyclone is so difficult to beat without shield pierce - if you include the HP of the constantly regenerating shield, it has 13 million HP in total (which would make it among the highest health enemies in the game).

Matt quick tip, the catamin stages are considered "new", so if you clear them, you get the 30 cat food and 1 leadership! I recommend do the crazed stages first, they're easy at your level

The aku gorilla was doing savage blows, its basically a crit except it does 3x damage but doesn’t affect metal trait, housewife cat has savage blow talents.

Oh hey matt, next update has aku outbreaks which lowers your units lvl cap, tf medalist with aku seeds. Jagando (Enemy) and Jagando Jr. (Unit). True form yukimara is good too. Aku axe is also added to unlock the aku outbreaks.

Oh my God Matt just do the zombie outbreaks if you do them all you get a total of 1,000 Max energy cap

so the pink attack thing it is an ability called “savage blow” and its like critical attack except it doesn’t kill metal enemies and some select units have this ability like narita kaihime and talented housewife cat!

Also in case you don't know the "shield piercing" ability its pretty much like barrier breaker but for aku shields, though take care, aku shields are far more deadly than alien barrier since they regenerate and also scale up if according to the enemy magnification (for example, the shield of an aku doge with a 200% magnification will be 2 times stronger than the shield of an aku doge with 100% magnification).

Wish the special enemy units you find would count in the book, then again limited ones would be annoying if you wanted all the enemies.

matt you should definitely true form Amaterasu. Now you have taken out SOL, the growing epic stage is available to play. With epic catfruit seeds, Amateratsu goes from an already solid uber to the best generalist in the game (with zombie killer and barrier breaker as well)

ok lemme help you out. Akus have a berrier, called a shield similar to the starred alien one, but better, this negated all effects on the enemy, including knockback and freeze. You either need the only shield peircer unit in the game, Lilin the new galaxy gal, there might be a new true form, but idk. And those kapows the aku gories were doing were called savage blows and that happens in a set chance that and enemy with that ability will do 3x the normal damage. The aku shield will regenerate with every knockback, so either you need lilin or you need to go through the cyclone's 1,200,000 base health and the 4 shields health over time which is also 1,200,000, so in total 6,000,000 health!

Cats with the "shield piercing" thing have a chance to completely destroy the aku enemies shield in a single hit (until the enemy gets knockbacked, it regains the shield after being knockbacked ofc), just a few cats have it (idk which ones but i know 2, which are the aku researcher (not sure about the percentage chance) and Lillin [def spelt the name wrong ik] which is an uber from the galaxy gals, who if I'm not mistaken has 100% chance to pierce the shield, altough she is a bad unit imo since she can die quickly (since she does for me lol)) not sure which more units have that ability but more are def coming soon i can guess, but also there's this cat that's also good in these aku stages which is "bellydance cat" (true form of matador cat), since one of the talents gives her the anti-aku trait, and what makes this good is sometimes she can completely ignore the attacks of red (and aku with the talent) for 2 seconds or so (i kinda forgot since i haven't seen the video but I'll just incase edit this comment later)

I think you should use all your cat capsules and get lots of cat fruits and try get a rainbow one

Cow cat was the only thing I ever got from the regular cat capsules, so my lion was already at max level and I just used the cat gods infinite cats blessing and beat the whole level by just spamming lions, the difference between barriers and shields is that barriers are destroyed by one strong hit, and can’t be broken by many hits, on the other hand with the aku’s shield dealing continuous damage is best because if you have one string attack, you’ll break the shield but won’t do any damage to the unit itself, and by the time the strong attack is back the shield is too.
