I’ve told you this in a couple of ‘shorts’ but (and last time I swear) hearing the exhilaration and genuine elation in your voice every time you accomplish something phenomenal after trying so many times is something that I think sets you far and above. You are a once in a lifetime gamer Josh, even after 33 years, your love of playing video games is quite apparent but your love of gaming is something special and I believe quite rare. hey, I appreciate it! I definitely had my difficulties, but I think overall my time spent with Elden Ring definitely helped me improve my abilities to play souls-likes in general.

I've done a playthrough were I relied too much on summoning the spectre for boss fights. Now trying a new playthrough with strictly no summoning and jeeze the Scrapped Watchman is tough! Must git gud :D

The only advice is if it's something you want to do, just get started! The longer you wait, the more time you're wasting not doing what you're interested in doing. Don't go crazy spending money on the idea, try to make do with what you can. A lot of research into a few affordable things like capture cards can go a long way, check out some videos on getting started for more details on that.

It's a bit of both, I forget the game even has a lantern tbh. I just don't find the game dark enough to justify it's use so I forget it exists.

I guess I thought you meant if I was going to fight the other boss I didn't on my first playthrough, which I did last night. The other endings themselves don't concern me so much, it's the gameplay that I wanted to make sure I didn't miss out on! :D I will be playing Lords of the Fallen, yep!

@@theJOSHfeed when they do the red attacks. I m in secend gane run and still cant parry them. Just avoiding them but you parry the red attacks all the time.

You block at the right moment just like any other attack. You can do this at any point in the game, whether the game tells you or not.
