My god that fight was difficult but with my mimic using elenora and me using vykes war spear to stagger him I beat him after 10 or more tries definitely less then 20 but I beat him at lvl 107 so I know you guys can too. I didn’t use his shackles though since it felt like skipping a hard fought fight to half a hard fought fight

I actually didn't use a horse for this at all, just a collosal GS with heavy attacks to knock it down, making sure to dodge all of his attacks at the same time like you did on the horse

I feel like this boss would be 10 times better if they toned down his second phase attacks. I never really get a chance to hit because I’m dodging a million times lol

Been struggling with this guy! Decided to give parrying a try and after maybe 3 hours I learned how to parry his hits and defeated him. Thank you

What is the weapon your using

Was a really fun boss fight, got her third try I found it was best to hit her with a dragonice incantation so she takes some frostbite damage real quick. Then it was just a very elegant dance with her, she sticks to a pattern of attacks and you can usually get her in between her combos given you have enough vigor.

This is by far the worst boss in the game. Janky movement and hitboxes horrible battlefield, WAY to much health.

Bro I Always almost kill him

Even overleveled, i can't complete this boss to save my life... I cant auto aim him as i cant see what im attacking, then trying to look and do dodging with my right thumb just doesnt work.

Another great playthru, thanks Josh. I hope you do another Boss guide series like you did in the base game. Just a note: at 10:12:21, when you died...it looked like the game just RNG screwed you. Sometimes in boss fights, you just get unfairly screwed over by the RNG...to me, that means it's luck & skill combined for solo players.

Maybe i need to just leavel up more? I'm only level 2 and all the videos i watch on this the player seems so much faster that what im currently able to move

What makes him hard is that he’s a long fight , immune to bleed and frost which lots of players build early on, so doing that weapon damage only makes the fight last. Not too hard just a tank that’s mid game

The same thing is in little nightmare 2 and is scary af

I am currently doing a second run in Elden Ring, after the first completed about 2 years ago. I now have a much stronger character than the first run, neverthelessi remember this boss fight gave me no or little problems during the first run, while now I am greatly struggling to overcome it, and I really can't explain why🤣 This video makes it look very simple. I’m watching this entire play through again as I missed quite a bit of it by either HAVING to go to sleep due to an early morning or simply falling asleep because I HAD an early morning that day so I’m going to watch every second of it again. One thing I’ve noticed so far in as I am, there are a lot of tombstones around, like A LOT. I don’t remember seeing this many in all of your base game play throughs. Is that a Miyazaki thing or does it have something to do with the lore in general? I’m 2:14:32 into part two so I’ve got a lot of watching to do! So far it’s been awesome. I mean I did see lots of it but my of lots may differ greatly from yours, lol. Anyways, if you could answer my question about all the headstones I’m seeing in the DLC I’d greatly appreciate that. ❤❤

Fire giant is truly onw of the bosses of all time. This boss wouldnt be nearly as annoying if the camera in this game was meant for locking onto larger targets, cant see what he does 90% of the time so you just have to get the timings down. And of course, having to chase him across the arena.
