He's just as ignorant as his brother on that front. This is why i aint following them anymore. I may see something like this and click and get into it and then they say some outlandish shit about Grime and then I can't bring myself to follow them again 😂. I feel like MCs like Devlin can kill a Grime beat and then hop on a hip hop beat etc and just as easily kill them beats too but Americans aren't able to do the same yet are so ignorant to it. They don't realise how intricate the pockets are that the MCs are hitting and these beats are shit quality because they were made by young kids with bare minimum equipment and knowledge but also use their influences of other genres lnto create something so unique and filthy sounding lol its literally like the start of hip hop and punk.. it just infuriates me the laziness for not making the effort to understand where/when/how/why Grime originated. I feel like they would actually appreciate it more if they did.

A lot of early uk grime was made not made in a proper studio. People didn’t have access to that equipment yet so I get why some beats you don’t get but we had to be simple back then. Polyphonic ringtones or a simple beatbox was the background music for uk rap battles in 2002 in school playground.
