Also I hope I'm not the only one thinking that Grandpa Bridgerton looks like Anthony.

Also in season 1, in her scene with King George, George asked about "Little George" and she mentioned that he was getting plumper by the day - they were talking about their eldest son, the future King George the Fourth, currently the Prince Regent because George III was considered mentally unfit to rule. He's the one who keeps crying because his daughter just died - he famously hated his wife Caroline of Brunswick, they disliked each other before they'd met and it got worse after their marriage, he was also looking for some way to legally divorce her and ended up preventing her from having just about any knowledge or input into their daughters life, but by all accounts he did genuinely love his daughter. Also in season 1 - George mentioned Amelia, she was their youngest (child number 15) but she died in her mid-late-twenties. When Charlotte was pregnant with Amelia her 13th and 14th child both died - two boys, both under 5. The 13 men and women we see in this scene are the rest of the royal babies queen Charlotte just mentioned.

Isn’t it sad we now that “”Lottie and George” actually were in love. There are letters documenting that and the many children they had together. It could have been one of the happiest royal couple in history. In the last years George was totally beside himself and never knew his Lottie passed away before him.
