The old saying goes that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. BUT it doesn’t matter where you’re dropped or fall - all that matters is where you end up & how you got there. “An apple is nothing but a seed's escape vehicle, just one of the ingenious ways they hitch rides -- in the bellies of animals, or by taking to the wind -- all to get as far away from their parents as they possibly can. So is it any wonder the daughters of dentists open candy stores, the sons of accountants become gambling addicts, the children of couch potatoes run marathons? She's always believed that most people's lives are lived as one great refutation of the ones that came before them.” Michael Christie, Greenwood

IN CASE YOU WANTED AN UPDATE: Guy Reffitt, 49, was found guilty in March 2022 on five felony counts, including obstruction of an official proceeding and interfering with police in a riot. The Capitol rioter turned in by his son got 87 months in prison. His sentence is the longest imposed on any of the US Capitol rioters. He was facing a 15 year prison term. The judge declined to apply domestic terrorism enhancement. His wife Nicole Reffitt told reporters the trial shows that "corrupt, evil politicians here in this city" are trying to undermine US civil liberties. "This isn't just about Guy Wesley Reffitt. This isn't about just January 6th. This is about our liberties being stomped on," she argued. I honestly don't know why the son wants to talk to his family if this is how they feel. Alfons Heck, then a member of the Hitler Youth, recalled the effects of the law that encouraged citizens to report their family or friends who disparage the (Nazi) Party. In 1938, he was living with his grandparents when his father came to visit. See quote: “In retrospect, I think it was the last time my father railed against the regime in front of me. . . . He wasn’t much of a drinker, but when he had a few too many, he had a tendency to shout down everyone else, not a small feat among the men of my family. “You mark my words, Mother,” he yelled, “that goddamned Austrian housepainter is going to kill us all before he’s through conquering the world.” And then his baleful eye fell on me. “They are going to bury you in this goddamned monkey suit [his Hitler Youth uniform], my boy,” he chuckled, but that was too much for my grandmother. “Why don’t you leave him alone, Du dummer Narr [you stupid fool],” she said sharply, “and watch your mouth; you want to end up in the KZ [the German abbreviation for concentration camp]?” He laughed bitterly and added: “So, it has come that far already, your own son turning you in?” My grandmother told me to leave the kitchen, but the last thing I heard was my father’s sarcastic voice. “Are you people all blind? This thing with the Jews is just the beginning."

It's one thing for a son to report to the FBI that his father is planning or has committed a clearly dangerous act. But having a son testify against his father is something that only amoral, godless bolsheviks used to teach children in their communist youth movement to do. Their great hero was a kid named Pavlov Morozov who reported on his parents that they hid a few kernels of wheat during the artificial famine when all crops and food were confiscated from the people. Hiding food was conceding a state crime. As a consequence his parents were executed. For decades Morozov was worshipped as a hero to be modeled after. Family bonds should be considered sacred, son turning against his father or father against his son is the beginning of the fall of humanity. Jackson has brought down a curse on himself, his children and descendants to the seventh generation. On the other hand, where were you, Mandy, when relatives of leftist terrorists of the 1960s-1970s were helping those murderers hide and escape and not turning them in? Your notion of integrity is full of hypocrisy and stinks. Your relatives are likely embarrassed to have you in their family celebrating familes being torn apart for the sake of a totalitarian state. Your comment has brought further shame on your miserable existence. Hope your kids don't get into the habit of turning you in for every deed that leftists consider as a crime against climate change, gender identity, a Marxist fuhrer. Hope they don't denounce you on national TV. What goes around comes around.

No Jackson, you didn’t tear your family apart. The parents who participated and actively allowed the others behavior tore your family part. A mother who could turn her back on her child is no mother at all. If you need a mother, I will gladly step in. My boys would welcome you with open arms. You’re a stand up young man and will make an exceptional father one day, if you so choose. ❤️

Yes Christie M 100 percent ! That young man is a hero for all of us . He is not to blame for anything . His father willingly did a monstrous act and he is to blame and the enablers who were not holding him accountable. The son should not be blamed for doing the right thing. We need more like the son to avoid becoming like Myannmar . Amazing young man. He deserves better than the sellouts he got stuck with. It is sad they don't support him in doing right . He clearly has all the morals and ethics the rest of them not at all . These last few years though 😒it has been eye opening how political figure worship has taken a wrecking ball to so many families. The insanity has been over the top. I love what you said and he would be better off with you all than them . I see they will always harbor resentment and blame him when it was the dad in the wrong not him if they are like my family clearly dysfunctional they are not capable of loving to the fullest their children except the son is the only one who would be the very best.
@smartmarketing1732 жыл бұрын
Exactly. Why didn’t his wife turn him in? She’s been enabling and covering for him for years, might even be an accessory to his crime. What a dysfunctional mess. Jackson’s the only one with any sense or morality. I’m happy to take his mom’s place- she doesn’t deserve him.

I so hope you’re right. These idiots are running around with their conspiracy theories about the ‘elites’ while they support their messiah (who is an elite), who has gone on record multiple times, since his daughter was at least 13, saying that he is sexually attracted to her. They listen to the likes of Tucker Carlson constantly ragging on the 'elites', when he is a trust fund baby. His stepmother is the heir of the Swanson frozen food empire, and he inherited a ton of money. He was confronted, and he says (you can hear him), that the whole cable news thing was a 'phase' he was going through, because he is extraordinarily loaded, and does not need to work. He also attended an elite boarding school in Rhode Island. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/iLSZociEqtXcmoU.html They have all these religious institutions who have been actually proven to have a ton of pedophiles, whom they choose to ignore, because, you know, BLM and Antifa.😒

After watching this...The father is to blame. He made his choices. The FBI would have found dad and charged him, eventually, even if the son didn't turn daddy in. Son, seek out a good therapist if your not seeing one already. The son is the true hero here The son is not at fault, not one bit for tearing the family apart, its not his fault, it never was. He bears no blame here, the dad is 100% to blame. The dad would have been arrested anyway. I want to give Jackson a hug, and I wish I could tell him this in person.

Jackson, stay strong, and never waver from your convictions. You did the right thing. One man made the difficult decision to turn in his brother (the Unabomber) and, in the process, saved more lives. Your father has to face the consequences of his actions. But for your mother and sisters, that is another story; they will need time away from your father to see how his actions affected them, and therapy to realize what you did was right before healing can begin.
@phisher77906 ай бұрын
It is obvious the son has more morals and ethics than rest of his family. One of the daughters, at least, is seriously misguided in saying her brother was wrong to turn in his father.

She needs to kick him to the curb, file for divorce immediately, and find another place to live far away. And if she's afraid the kids may tell him where she moves, don't tell them. Classic long term psychological abuse or Stockholm syndrome.
