I spent £4000 buying 4 Cars from British Car Auctions online without viewing to flip within a week. Was it a win or a bust?

As former bca employee, don't buy blind from them. Unfortunately due to covid auctions are no more, but yeah those AA/RAC report on cars, are worth nothing.

Nice video. Thanks for sharing and being open with the costs. So there's sill money to be made in these times when all the auction prices have gone up. Of course you have to spend more money on MOT, repairs and offering warranty.

Great channel, subbed! Question, looking to start out seen a few 'bargains' cat n on salvage mkt, do you need trade insurance/plates to bid/win?

Thanks! Really appreciate that. No for Copart and Salvage Market you don't need to have trade insurance

Hi mate appreciate you might no reply with this being a slightly older video, but can I ask where you lust your vehicles Just starting out myself and just waiting for all my auctions accounts to go active. Just wondering where you have the best results and are you paying and premium memberships through any of the market places you list on?
@ChopsGarage2 жыл бұрын
Free on Facebook is by far the best results at this price point bud. Get a free Car Guru account too but don't bother upgrading to paid
@amateuratlife20872 жыл бұрын
@@ChopsGarage really appreciate the reply, very helpful. I spoke to car Guro the other day and unfortunately looks like free accounts don't exist anymore, there best option is a 5 spaces account which was £180 and they had promo taking it to 10 spaces Holding off for the time being as would be silly to commit to £180 a month in the star without any gaurentee of success from them However was better than autotrader and there £600 a month contract 😂 Understand dealerships with 60 cars might pay that but that doesn't help the little guy who wants to start

90k is lot for a 2010 looks honest though. I actually bought a mk1 punto 55 mk1 today with zero options today with 30k it's like a time capsule it's been in dry storage since 2005
@ChopsGarage3 жыл бұрын
You really think 90k is alot for 2010? Thats below average miles per year. Low mileage does not make a good car. Regular maintaince makes a good car. Id take 90k with fsh over 50k with patchy all day. Nice buy on the Punto but you will need to get every rubber part swapped out and drain that tank of course.

@@ChopsGarage In the United States 100k on a vehicle is nothing. A lot of people commute 150 miles a day or more for work. Add in running errands and vacation drives and the mileage adds up quickly. My daily driver a few years ago was a Saturn Astra , basically a rebadged Vauxhall Astra, and that averaged 40k a year for almost eight years.

All that you are doing is encouraging private people to enter the car trade , the more dealers there are the less chance of you selling your vehicle’s, thought you would have more sense ?

Why is this encouraging them? If they watch my vids there are actually far more likely to NOT enter the trade! Watch a few more Id suggest
