I had to have a lowrider since I was a kid growing up watching snoop and dre and living in LA. I finally broke and got a 73’ Chevy Monte Carlo. I absolutely love this car. Easy to work on. The sound is amazing. And I get looks and thumbs up everywhere I go. It feels pretty good to be a part of the lowrider Chicano culture.

Another BMW guy into old Chevys here. I have a 2002 and also had an E12. When I was a kid my dad had a ‘66 Impala SS. Had a ‘66 non-SS for a bit. Always loved the A-pillar on this model of full-size GMs! This one is sweet! Wish it was mine!

That’s a clean ‘62. If you don’t do a disc brake conversion, at least install a dual pot master cylinder. That way if you spring a leak, You’ll still have some brakes.

Yeah I'm from central cali maine you ain't never lied rust buckets all over here up north and in the south in cali but they projects you know at least some lol you got a clean ass bel air though fa sho we still got the best clean ass lows lows in the world though fa sho no dis to some nationwide and world wide lowriders they got some clean riders to you doin the thang stay rollin usually here lowriders on a upper scale bombs 57 bel air two door vert or hard top or two door impalas 58 -70 etc Man I even see some sweet 4 doors juiced up no post or wit pillars Im from the 80's 90's I seen a whole lot in them streets real talk enjoy ya old school lowriders will never be played out we love em 👀

Car didn't come from LA. I bought it in Palatine, bagged it, covered the seats patched up the floors, and sold it to the guy you bought it from.

Air ride is much smoother riding than hydraulics, and they can be quick.

Dude how much did you pay? I definitely can’t afford a 59 to 64 Impala cause of how ridiculously expensive they are even in horrible condition but I have recently been looking into buying a Bel Air of the same time period. Id probably do a two door instead of a four door. Definitely will turn it into a Lowrider. Anyways clean car.
