In this video, I take a look at a Pokemon Card Collection that was originally a Pokemon Card store. We find the ORIGINAL prices of what these cards sold for back in 1999-2000.

I literally get heavy nostalgia seeing the prices, that alone takes me back to the times when it all was relevant... and what a time in culture it was, basically during the GSC Era. the absolute height of pokemon for me, though the age we're in today is really fn awesome, a similar energy and thrill is present.

Honestly I'd love to see you turn this into a mini series where you show off all the stuff you got from the purchase, then show off all the cards you end up sending to ace grading and the grades they got. It would be some good content.

I remember places like that in my local market and at car boot sales, only wish I'd known the prices would sky rocket as I gave all my cards away. Would be interested to see what else you got from the store though

I have like 20 of each, both Ponyta and Rapidash, literally ultra common. The only thing is that they're unlimited not the 1st edition. You can have those if you want at no cost. ~Alexander

In the that 1999 big Pokémon binder in your photo and it’s all filled up with hollocrafic cards with 2 first edition cards and one binder fill up with only pikachu cards Never knew they was so rare

Makes me wish I could go to the store to browse the card isle again. There’s no Walmart, Fred Myers, ect. here… If you want to go to any common stores, fast food or restaurants you have to go to the town next to us (the big one. The other small town has less than we do)

When I was about 13 ~1999 there was a pokemon stall in a shopping centre and I bought an Articuno first edition holo for £20, which at the time I probably way overpaid

Considering a Pokémon pack cost £2.50 back then. £4.50 for a card back than would of been a push for your parents to buy that for you. Probably why the togetic didn't sell
