Nothing wrong with the 53 block my 01 has the 53 and it went through hell and its still going there good motors i was told as long as it stayed stock and dont try to make big power with it that it will last a long time befor it ever cracks there good motors they all have there problems

Even with the 53 block its the best truck you'll ever own enough power to pull most anything
