You guys should of moved all the slide pieces (especially the supports' legs) with a 53 foot semi-truck by hiring somebody to drive the truck (truck driver). That would of prevented some of the problem at least. Great video, the key is to never give up! :)

I would get a lawyer involved if you haven't already before doing anything to that slide. I don't know what your terms are but the seller could be liable for a lot of the damages. That slide is definitely going to need to be restored by a fiberglass expert by the way.

Wholly funk nice water slide

Cutting up the structure isn't that big of a deal frankly. Round main section can be welded then weld a collar overtop to reinforce the joint. The HSS beams can be welded up as well and gussets/additional plates added. The structural part is the easier part. The loads aren't actually that substantial either. Water weight on the slide would be a few hundred lbs at any given time, a user or two another couple hundred lbs, and the weight of the sections themselves which by how they were moved suggest they're less than 200lbs each. The slide segments on the other hand appear to be in very poor condition. A lot of rot, corrosion, and weakness (visible cracking). Given the number of sections and they all need a significant amount of fiberglass re-work and it all needs a fresh gelcoat, to me there is about 20-25k just in refurbing the slide pieces. No offense but generally speaking this slide looks like it was ready to be landfill garbage until you came along as its cost to repair exceeds its worth. None the less, best of luck!
