Absolutely gorgeous brother. That was definitely a deal, it would be difficult to pass on. My last new truck was sorta like that. Went looking for a two year old truck but they were almost the same if I ordered a new one with the employee discount. I hate financing but they had 0 % for 48 months. I actually saved money by not pulling it out of a account and paying cash. Congratulations brother, you did good.

The VE pump was a great pump. But remember, the pump is over 30 years old. Seals go bad with age. The fact that it was still original and not leaking until now is pretty amazing. And sitting definitely doesn't help the seals any. I personally don't love the P7100 pumps. They can produce a lot of power, but they don't take heat. Starve it for fuel a little bit and next thing you got delivery valves sticking and your at least 2k for a good rebuild. Diesel controls in Massillon and Columbus Diesel Supply are both great places to get pumps and injectors done at.

3.5” front level/lift block coil spacer ontop of those front coil springs then 20” limited chrome oem wheels with 37” nitto mud grapplers or 37” Toyo open country m/t’s and this truck would literally be perfect 🫡👌🏼

A lot of the fleet (landscapers, local fleet haulers, dirt work industry, etc,) HD trucks being gas is for a couple reasons: 1) Cheaper cost of maintenance and 2)most employees tend to put gasoline in diesel trucks. A majority of the fleet industry around the Minneapolis area where I live have gone to gas HD trucks...and with all the government diesel regulations now...I understand why. I still prefer my personal HD trucks to be diesel...but they're also all over 10 years old (no manufacture emissions BS).

Just do a basic Carli leveling kit, 35s. Or if you keep it stock, drop front tires to 50/55psi and the rear to 45/50. Your ride quality will be amazing

Unfortunately, it's the fuel quality nowadays since the fuel had higher sulfur content back when the trucks were new, which means the fuel had more lubrication. Pretty much all the older diesels started having injection pump and other fuel system issues when they switched to the low sulfur diesel. The process used to remove sulfur lowers the lubricity of the fuel. That's why I use the Hot Shot EDT fuel additive every fuel up, since it adds lubricity, in all my diesels

My 2nd gen gasser 5.9 engine light comes on and off for 02 sensors scan it and it'll tell you

Great choice. Keeping it simple is the best choice. Practical is the best choice anymore. Don’t get me wrong I love all the lifts and everything but this day and age it’s a nightmare trying to do a lot of everyday stuff.

That is a beautiful truck I would not do a damn thing to it either if I thought I was going to have to take it out in the woods maybe put a little more aggressive tire on it is definitely hey damn sharp-looking truck and with you having two babies now and the wife you need a good comfortable truck

I would def recommend letting the dealer do the maintenance and keep it stock if you want to use the warranty.

No, Ram went back to the CP3 in 2021 I believe or 2020 they also replaced all CP4's in the 2019's on some form of recall
