Working minimum wage, dealing with rude customers from time to time, but I mean come on…some of them high school kids are lousy af when it comes to food service. Idk, you can’t complain too much when it comes to fast food, it’s not supposed to be some fine dining experience.

Oh absolutely. I used to work in fast food for a very brief time and no one ever asked to speak to the manager for a good reason, so sometimes I do that. I’m going to do that more often, I swear it can make a persons entire fast food career 😅

I worked in the service industry for a few years. It sucks when customers and coworkers treat you like shit. Right now I'm trying to build my money up so that 1 day I can have a few restaurants and a few bakeries. I will start with 1 of each of course but I will make sure that everyone in there gets along and that rude customers are dealt with by someone other than my future employees. I want everyone in my business to want to come to work not despise it and only come because they need to make money... ❤

I work at a fast food restaurant and no one really gives us compliments like that and it’s hard sometimes cause we really do try to make people happy. You can tell that they're so accustomed to receiving ungrateful/disrespectful/negative energy from their customers that they're noticeably nervous when approaching the counter to speak with him, kindness to others should be contagious because the world needs more of this. Notice the huge genuine smiles that appear instantly onxe it becomes clear that this was a positive gesture of gratitude.

It does not matter the tip amount, the positive words were more appreciated. Made the cashiers' day, and the burger maker's day. Nice to see smiles. Saying have a nice day goes a long way.
