I bought a Shark StainStriker carpet cleaner on Home Shopping Network (HSN).
Some of the things that I like about it:
It's very easy to clean due to the removable plastic pieces on the brush heads and the included hose cleaner attachment.
The reversible brushes. One side is bristled, the other side is rubber nubs.
The inclusion of a very wide brush and the pet mess brush (the chunky stain remover).
It's relatively quiet (compared to other carpet cleaners).
It's lightweight.
The ability to use the very narrow tool without any attachments.
Some of the things I don't like:
The suction seems to be lacking compared to my Bissell carpet cleaner.
The included chemicals didn't visual improve stains, even though the water that it extracted was pretty nasty.
