Tavarash suggested this channel to me, and I'm glad he did... I'm sure i'm going to enjoy it... I've got a 74 camaro sitting in my garage, I've been restoring... well, for twenty years LOL 😆 I've been needing to get back to it now for a while... I thought mine was bad... It's not as bad as yours... 😬 Can't wait to see it get finished up, 😉👍 good luck on this project! ❤️ Your mom's lucky to have a son like you, and you're lucky to have her. Mine's been up in heaven now for 13 years. I miss her every day.

Great voice, great audio, great editing. Your willingness to jump in hands on and learn is admirable. For welding, i would suggest investing in getting gas for your welder. It wil help immensely as a beginner and your learning welds will have more integrity. Second is making sure your welder has a solid power source. So at least 20 or amp breaker of power source and if an extension cord is needed, make it as short heavy gauge as possible

Yes, welding is hard. But learn your basics and practice. The rest will fall into place. Eventually you'll start to see progress and be extremely surprised at how well you're doing. Please take your time. Don't settle for good enough. Do things 2,3,4 or how ever many times it takes. What I tell everyone that is starting out. Don't be afraid to mess up because you will. You'll break things we all do. Also, research, research, research and oh yeah research.

@motov8-garage832
@motov8-garage832 Жыл бұрын
@@TheGarageGoblinike your channel and what your doing, I really do enjoy watching your process. This said 3k is twice over what a used sb350 and a th350 is worth. You've worked with this stuff long enough to know this, maybe you're being sarcastic..I hope lol. Because a th350 is a good transmission but they are litterly the cheapest auto trans to buy and one of the easiest to rebuild. A new rebuilt th350 is 7 bucks for a oem build(and 1200 for a little upgraded one)then a used th350 can be had for 100 to 200 bucks. sb350 engines are cheap too, 100 bucks to Infiniti but a used unknown condition one is free to 300 maybe...maybe 500 if it is running and clean looking, more obviously depending on aftermarket parts. Things are more expensive these days but not like all these people in the comment section are saying. I'm not going to even get into the price on the car. I'm a believer in you do you (but even a friend should give you constructive criticism)

@@TheGarageGoblin Not sure how much of a tip that was, more of a rant😄. Hey dont feel bad we all live and learn (I've done the same) and if it's something your doing that you really love and care about, you'll put in the work to learn about it (which you obviously are) 3k is high but it's not the end of the world, I know this project is for your mom so i get it, If I was buying and building my mom her old car from her younger days.. I'd be doing it for her, not thinking about much else. You should get and build your own project car after you get this one done. You'll obviously have learned some things and be two steps ahead to build your own car next.
