Very cool gun wall! My late father was a gun collector...mainly WWI Vintage Springfields. His rifles had been stored away for decades when they were discovered, and he won many trophies at large gun show's for his collection and display case ( which he made! )He sold the collection at an auction, and the proceeds were to make sure my mother wouldn't have to worry about her finances after he passed ( his injury in the Korean War was the cause of his passing at 80 years old. ). The only things I wanted from his collection were his two shotguns he won in a skeet and trap regional tournament when I was a child, and his late 1800's double barrel shotgun! I donated his trophy shotguns to a museum, where they will be displayed, and my father's name is on a plaque with the shotguns. It was the best way I could honor my father. The other shotgun is my home defense weapon! It still shoots too! Before my injury, I had planned on doing some rabbit hunting at a farm that grows organic veggies. But my back injury has me on the mend right now! I am happy to see the two of you are carrying the torch of being a gun collector!

First, get that quilt appraised -- it might be worth $100 - $200. Second, thought you'd appreciate this observation I found on Quora in the “Guns and Self-Defense” section: You may have heard on the news about a Southern California man who was put under 72-hour psychiatric observation when it was found he owned 100 guns and allegedly had 100,000 rounds of ammunition stored in his home. The house also featured a secret escape tunnel. By Southern California standards, someone owning 100,000 rounds is considered "mentally unstable". BUT… In Michigan, he’d be called “the last white guy still living in Detroit.” In Arizona, he’d be called "an avid gun collector. In Arkansas, he’d be called “a novice gun collector.” In Utah, he’d be called “moderately well prepared,” but they’d probably reserve judgment until they made sure that he had a corresponding quantity of stored food. In Kansas, he’d be “A guy down the road you would want to have for a friend.” In Montana, he’d be called “The neighborhood ‘Go-To’ guy.” In Idaho, he’d be called “a likely gubernatorial candidate.” In Georgia, he’d be called “an eligible bachelor.” In North Carolina, Virginia, WV, Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky, South Carolina and Minnesota he would be called “a deer hunting buddy.” AND,OF COURSE, In Florida , he’d just be “a guy who’s a little short on Ammo.”:

One thing most people don't realize is with the company Firesafe like the one you found, they have a small amount of different keys. My mom had one like that you found. I had a smaller one. She also had one like mine. My key works her bigger safe . Not the one like I have. You might want to keep any of these kinds of keys to try instead of breaking them open all the time. Remember if you can open it with a key. You can sell it with a replacement key and make more money than you do breaking into them

It's part of the rules of purchasing auction units. It is in the disclaimer that all personal paperwork and pictures must be returned to the person who lost their unit. The site manager's job is to make sure this is enforced. Unfortunately there a ton of crappy managers who don't enforce this. I make sure to let anyone that's purchased a unit from my site that this has to be done or else I ban buyers. This is the worst part of my job, I hate seeing people lose their belongings.

Nice gun wall, Jeebus! If I learned anything from buying arcade games, it's that a standard cabinet lock can be picked pretty easily with a fingernail file on a standard fingernail clipper. Just slide the hooked side in on the side with the pins, and jiggle and twist. Eventually the lock will turn.

Your little trap in the tool box. Its a leg hold trap for small game. We use them alot in New Zealand to trap possums (different to the opossums you have). The blunt sides will trap the back leg, but they arent lethal. We set them in a series of lines in the bush, and you walk your trap lines in the morning. Possums are a massive pest here, but the fur off them is incredibly soft and warm, so they mix it with wool here. It was interesting to see one over there, I assume it could trap a racoon or similar size game. If you are curious about what we call possums, they are on wikipedia, called a brushtail possum.

The Watch you found @ 1.21 that was wrapped in leather is called a rider's watch. It is used by motorcycle riders. It is clipped to the belt and the watch rests on the riders leg. The face is upside down when standing but right side up when you are sitting on a bake and look down on it. The idea is all you have to do is look down to see the time and not take a hand off the handlebars to read a wrist watch.

All you need to open up a sentry fire safe is a butter knife. Stick it in on the left side of the safe and slide it to the right and when you feel it hit the lock piece push it to the right hard while you hold the safe from sliding and it should pop open for you. I lost the key to one I had one time and that was how I would have to get in it and it would actually still lock when I would close it.

Purchasing a lot firearms over time is not "hoarding", and it's perfectly legal.

The lock is an antique padlock (or reproduction, didn't see well enough). If an antique, value depends on whether there is an indication of maker, company using, and if key is with it. No surprise, some makers are worth more than others. If company is a railroad or notable company, it's worth more. If key is with it, value increases. They sell from 30 to a couple of hundred.

Your knowledge of all things guns is impressive, but I'm really impressed with how much you've learned about tools over the time I've been watching your videos. 😂😂😂😂 The tape measure!!! Peace out!!

He might know some stuff about guns and tools but nothing about swords witch is easy to tell cuz he priced a Japanese sword worth $200 minimum at $50 and another blade worth a minimum of $150 at $40 and the average price of the two blades together is $1,500

Hang on to those patches, some are worth hundreds of dollars if you come across real ones, especially SOF patches. Important campaigns and missions increase their value.
