Depending on the model/manufacturer the FN FAL is possibly the most expensive rifle their. An original preban FAL can be worth $5000 depending on where it is made and condition. I use to have a preban Belgian FAL. I regret ever selling it. Original Israeli and Belgian FALs command the best prices. If it is a kit then it can be worth as much as $ 1500 to $2000. PSA and a few others made kits for them once upon a time. The Marlin 45-70 is another valuable rifle if it from the 1980s. Remington 700s are nice hunting rifles if pre 2009. Remington got bought out and was crap for several years. Marlin and Ruger bought up much of Remington so now the rifles are back to being made with quality.

The FAL is a DSA SA58. Made in California using the original Steyr Mannlicher Puch tooling that made the STG 58 Austrian FAL. Nothing beats an Aussie Lithgow L1A1 though. Buying one from DSA that one would sell for about $1800.

As the storage bin began to empty I felt a sadness, I kinda got to thinking that maybe, just maybe the storage bin belonged to one of America's' elite A military man, a soldier whose whole life was there in that storage. Rifles, pistols, knives, ammo and all kinds of milateria, all well packed and stacked in a soldierly fashion .At the end a somber chile began creeping over me. That guy's life was in that storage and no matter what, he would never have let his storage go to auction. I just hope and pray that he is alive and well.

I had two 9mm suppressors in my storage unit, a few years back. They sold it faster than they were supposed to. I had told everyone I needed to, that I had to get my NFA items out of the storage unit. Because legally I'm the only one who can possess them. It takes 6 months to over a year to even pick them up after you purchase them. Plus since they're NFA items, they require $200 tax stamps each and the paperwork has to be with them at all times. But of course they didn't listen, and sold my unit anyway for only $50. I talked to corporate and management. Plus you'd think whoever bought the space would have realized that they couldn't legally possess them. Afterwards, I called the BAFTE, FBI an my local police. I was in contact with an BATFE agent locally. But now for some reason I cannot access my Gmail account, I'm gonna need help to recover my Gmail. My only hope is whomever has them, gets pulled over with the 9mm pistol cans in the car. Since they're both registered to me, and can only be in my possession. I'd hate to be them. That's a federal crime.

The DSA SA58 was a nice find. DSA bough all the Steyer Mannlicher Puch tooling from Austria that used to be used to produce the STG58 battle rifle for the Austrian Army and make rifles with the tooling in California with them. They are not cheap at all. They are worth a lot. Basically 1/3 of your outlay in that one rifle. Also good to see your firearms safety knowledge has improved a bit since the old days, better than the previous owner who had multiple guns with chambered rounds in there. The M1A is worth a lot too. It is a reproduction of the M14 which is an evolution of the M1 Garand, in semi auto only though. Depending on the age the Model 700's could be worth a lot of money too. If one of them is older manufacture and in good shape it would be worth a lot. Not AK ammo at the end. It said 7.62x51. It goes in the SA58 and M1A. The ones in the enblock clips in the fabric bandallier are .30-06 for the M1 Garands.

@@946towguy2, I suspect the owner was deceased. And the people who were cleaning out the house. Had no idea of the value of the firearms and ammo. He probably will not get 20k if he liquidated everything. But still a substantial piece of that. There were a couple of power tools that will bring more money than he thought. But it looked like the firearms were being overvalued.

I respect that he treats every weapon as if it’s loaded, but I am devastated by his lack of knowledge regarding both the tools and the firearms. The second he pulled out an SA-58 my jaw dropped. 12:48 The compressor before had it's own tank, but that tank could be retro-fitted to adapt to the small compressor in order for it to have more air supply, which isn't really necessary as that compressor is made for nailguns, and would never actually run out of air as it's just on full time. The yellow tank is more for like, emergency tire inflation, or a re-beader tool for when you can't get a tire to seat onto a rim.

From a professional carpenter, those tools are air guns, nail guns, screw guns, and many attachments for them. Plus a full size combination mitre ('my-ter') saw, and air compressor. The owner was definitely a woodworker, or trim, or field Carpenter. Some very nice stuff you got there.... that's all an added bonus to the guns and pistols..

That owner obviously died. That's the only explanation for someone who planned for Armageddon in such a fastidious fashion. Someone like that is not going to lose his "go-locker" because he no longer wanted to pay the bill. I also assume his surviving family or relatives, if he had any, were not aware this storage even existed. And it is easy to see no one noticing the paltry storage bill getting ignored in the shuffle of dealing with a deceased's personal matters. From everything in the unit I can say he was most definitely a survivalist, or simply someone who wanted to be prepared for hard times when whatever causes everything to go south. Consider what he had neatly stored, everything for that fateful day: - Sleeping bags, camping equipment, food containers, clothing, blankets, etc. - Power tools for constructing and building with wood. - Rifles for hunting. (All the rifles modern day or reproductions, e.g., the Winchesters and M1 Garands.) - Handguns for personal protection (from people who would want to take his stuff). - Military style tactical shotguns - for protection, and hunting. - Military and military-style knives and bayonets. None remarkable, and very common on the auction sites, but nevertheless required equipment. - And LOTS of ammo, carefully packed, and only for each weapon stored. (After all, what good is a weapon if you don't have ammo for it.) Yep, that locker was for the owner to have when the U.S. collapses or when some natural disaster changes his world order. And as is common, what took him out was a car accident, old age, or some grave medical event.

The weapon you're referring to at approximately: 16:55 is the M1 Carbine a firearm developed late during the Second World War. It was a lighter mag-fed semi-automatic rifle that shot 20 rounds of 7.62. It was mostly used by American paratroopers because of its lightweight, and was used during the invasion of Normandy. The M1 Garand (The first old-timey rifle you pulled out in the tan/olive drab soft case labeled "U.S") was the primary firearm of the U.S. Army during the Second World War. It was also semi-automatic and it shot 8 round clips of 30-6. Anyway I know I'm a bit late but I hope that helps.

That “stock” that was in the big box, is actually a U.S. Henry .22 survival rifle. The barrel, action and magazine are all inside of the butt of stock. They are super cool and will float on water when closed up like that. I’ve had a few and still have one. The Garand and M1 are both super nice too and high dollar. The M1 is used in competition shooting. The Garand of course was used in war. WW2. The bayonet on the Garand, if original war time and not a reproduction, I’ve seen sell for up to 700 bucks! Very cool finds.

Great find. Not only your happy, there could be a sad story behind this unit. It could have been from someone who was in the military, or had a dad who passed away and left them to his love ones. It’s definitely a sad day for me, cause I’m sure the person who lost all that is definitely devastated. I know I’d find out who owned the unit and track him down. Selling it back to him for a profit of some kind. And in some states/cities any guns would need identified. But it’s yours, you do what ur heart tells you to do, not letting you mind tell you want to do. If there’s no #3 video then we will all know why.😢
