Nice Colorado! Window tint is a must! Also did truck bed have a liner already?

I agree, my eyes are sensitive to light so the tint helps a lot. Yes, it did have a spray-in liner already, I believe it was part of the Z71 Trail Runner package. I forgot to mention it so thanks for asking!

I know you didn’t install the lift but are you able to tell possibly how much fender trimming was done and where to accommodate those size tires?

I don't believe they did any trimming. None that I noticed, anyway. It is pretty close in a couple of spots, though.

I'd suggest you do Benebolt LED's. I did a video on them recently. They are awesome. Congrats on the new truck!

Jason, love the new truck, mine is a 2017 Z71 in Cyber Grey Metallic with the baby Dmax. I love my truck, but it is stock and sits to low. What are the specs on the lift and what size tires does yours have.

Great color...I had a 2010 Camaro in that color. That's the one downside of having the lift kit pre-installed...you don't get to do it "your way" so the only specs I know is what is on the Icon web site. The tires are 285/70R17.

Awesome. The spear tire was killing me sitting so low under the truck. when I got my new 2021 2 months ago. I just took it down that and the tire skid plate and put it in the back of my truck.

I don't seem to mind the spare tire. I notice it once in a while, but not enough to remove it...yet. 😆 How id you secure it in the bed of your truck?

@@jasonlewis6914 Cool. Many years ago I had an S10 for less than a month. I kept a big bag of sand in the back for traction. I let a friend borrow the truck and someone pulled out in front of them. My friend slammed on the brakes and then slammed into the other car, which caused that bag of sand to slide forward so fast that when it hit the front of the truck bed, it hit it so hard that it left a massive dent in the bed, and even in the back of the truck cab. I always wondered how much the sand bag contributed to it being totaled. I'd at least secure it with a ratchet strap.

I tried getting one today at the dealership but they want way too much for the base model, I want stuff added like liner, steps on the side, orange color which is pricey but looks nice a crush orange. Sadly just cant afford it, got too much credit debt happens when you have a full family with a lot of bills every month. Hopefully can get one before winter hits have never owned a 4 wheel vehicles and this has my attention. Tried trading my car in but they didn't want to give enough back for it despite it being in great shape and no problems, 2012 cruze but guess the market is saturated with them. I test drived it and really like it, feels great driving this, feels weird being so high up on the road but will come in handy wont have to inch forward in my car to see if cars are passing anymore. Overall a solid midsize truck but I feel they could have done more with this for the price, it's not keyless , interior feels a bit lacking, should come with a bed roll on cover in my opinion, and should come with led. Something I'll probably pay to have installed later on. I'm just sick of my old car it's loud and out of date and felt this would be a great vehicle for me, but just too expensive. Will say it looks pretty cool on the outside.

The chrome thing is from where we grew up and our age. Everytime I see Chrome I think of a baby blue 78 thunderbird with chrome rusted bumpers or beat up trucks.

I agree. I think it is just a bit out of date and out of style. But that's just me...I like the stealthy look versus the flashy look personally.

I have them all on my list! What bed cover do you suggest? I am focusing on a hard cover that offers good security options.

@@InJasonsGarage I have an f150 but I wanted a hard cover. Bought a painted to match cover brand is "undercover" but would not recommend because the hinges are crappy. Not too sure what options but theres so many out there.

Is this truck comfortable for long rides with 4 people?? How is the gas milage?

I find it comfortable myself, there's decent room for 4 adults but not much for additional cargo space if all 4 seats are filled. Don't forget it is a pickup truck, it isn't as refined as my Jeep Grand Cherokee but not bad for a truck. My gas mileage averages around 17, combination of city and highway driving.

That's a very nice truck. I been thinking and trying to decide for over a year now between a crew cab truck or an suv. I don't really need a truck but I think they are so cool. Suv will be more comfortable on long rides and better mpg too. Don't know what to do. Lol

@@futbol1972 Depends on the truck and SUV. My 2020 Colorado as you see it in this video gets about the same MPG as my 2012 Grand Cherokee (with the 3.6l V6 and AWD).

For a few reasons, but I honestly don't plan to do that level of off-roading and I was getting a _killer_ deal on this one. Plus, it was the only one in this color for many miles in either direction.
