And I'm here with a Lenovo Legion Tower too... But from Best Buy. So far though it isn't bad for such a system tho the Cpu cooling isn't great and the mb firmware is an oof and there's single channel ram and the PSU is a mixed bag (400 W wtf, but it's a 80+ Gold) but the case is very nice and filled to the brim with airflow, lighting is nice for the showiness, the motherboard doesn't look like shit, there's tempered glass, yeah the case is good lol. The GPU currently doesn't look bad too, and the Cpu cooler, at least is pretty quiet for such a cooler, it's so much less noisier than the jet engine of my now not mine laptop. Or many prebuilts. Comparing to this computer in the video, it has its issues indeed, but the motherboard seems to be a standard ATX motherboard and everything else about it... is the same. It may be crud but it is one of the most upgradable OEM PCs, which is rare. Just like dual channel ram ugh. And the case, once again, isn't bad, it's got also areas to stuff cables too, so you can use non modular PSUs in the future without pain. So that's my mini first impression "review," now I need to see if Linux and games run well on it.

@@roundduckkira you probably got a different model. I got the legion tower 5 with an i5 10400 and a 1660 super and dual channel 16gb of ram from costco. it was for $899, it's the best deal I've seen so far

its performing about 2x better than my RTX 3060 ti alienware pre build.....

@@gernblanston4956 Some Intel boards now support "Flex Mode" where the amount of memory in the smaller DIMM will run in dual channel with the first X gigabytes from the second stick. Then the remaining RAM will run in single channel. So in this HP's case, 4+4 GB in dual channel, and the last 4 in single. How many sticks of ram did u see? I saw 2, which means it’s 8+4 gig setup which is not dual channel ram... anything that tells u otherwise is a lie

@@TheJAADF yep cause 4+4 dual channel PLUS 4 gig single channel has no apparent advantage over 8 gig dual channel which is a waste really and the 8+4 setup’s 8 gig dual channel is actually slower than regular 8 gig dual channel due to more processing... so yeah it’s not a dual channel

@@1wasinAlpha from the 12 gigs, the 8 that work in dual channel, work as fast as in 4+4 GB sticks, and the remaining single channel 4gb are still waaay faster than hitting page file.

@@TheChudoviste yup, one 4GB and one 8GB stick = 4+4GB dual channel, the rest single (if the motherboard/chipset allows it, otherwise just single, i have seen motherboards refuse dual channel just because the sticks were of different brand (and perhaps timing), but same size and speed.)

No it's not. This shit is basically throw it straight in the trash in two years. Just buy an Xbox, you can get one straight from M$ pretty easy and it will only set you back $500, and you can still get that nice mouse and keyboard and plug straight into xbox, will work fine for Warzone.
