My mother in law MADE all the grands a cabbage patch doll, using the child’s first outfit and had to look like them, mine both had tracheotomy’s so she put a button hole in the neck for my girls❤❤❤❤

Yhe Datsun 240 brought back memories of my friends 240Z. She had just been married and her husband bought it for her befored he was deployed to Viet Nam. Color was that pumpkin orange. I think it was 1970. We were both 21. Those were the days. Btw her husband was one of the lucky ones. He made it home.

In my time we used to physically look up random numbers out of the phone book . Our thing was : Good evening sir /mam. I’m from the Westinghouse Corporation and we’re doing a survey on fridges . We’d then ask if their fridge was running . They’d answer yes . Then we’d say “well you better catch it then “. 😂😂😂

How exciting to get some Corgi cars for yourself! It's nice to find things you can enjoy. In 1984 the first Cabbage Patch Kids started being sold. My husband worked at a retail store and all the employees pre-purchased the dolls before they went on the shelves. We got one. I bet that's why they were so hard to get. 😉

That was amazing,Alex! The Corgi cars for yourself were a fantastic find! I love the Coca Cola box,I think it can be used as a tray. I guess there is some Noritake that gets high dollar resells. But Noritake produced a ton of porcelain dishware and there's still a lot of it out there. As a part-time reseller, I've come across bits and pieces of it over the years and have my mom's 6 piece place setting set and some serving pieces, that I love. Noritake did make high quality, beautiful wares, for sure, but I never found that the "sold for" prices were all that great or what I thought they would be. And maybe some patterns will fetch more than others or certain singular pieces like the hand-painted teapot you have could be high. But maybe your experience will be better...I hope so. 👍
