A Lovely little pistol and I enjoyed every minuet and ThankYou Kindly! I was working along with you having done work like this for myself. Old and simple pistols like this have a historical beauty worthy of restoration. Thanks Again! DaveyJO in Pennsylvania

Great video. Interesting how similar the design of pistols of this period are. If it works, stick with it I suppose.

I very much like your manual gunfitting talent. I'd like to see you working on a Queen Anne screw barrel pistol. What is your fave type of regular sized muzzleloader pistol? I have an affinity to the Scottish pistols with the solid brass stocks. I wonder why they evolved? There must be a very good reason as I don't think such a design developed in any other country.

Thank you for your excellent videos. You inspired me to fix a brass bodies sock pistol today. I think you should cap your pistols and make sure they fire: my understanding is you don’t need to put them on a firearms certificate for this.

Good job to be sure but not all history deserves to be preserved. Poor quality piece this as far as I can see.

Hi, excellent work. I have one pistol like the one you are working on . I would like to collect some other versions, but having difficulty finding something at a fair price. Where do you find them ? Do you have any you are willing to part with. Kindly regards Karl

Fun fact: in italian those are known as 'mazzagatti (shortening for ammazzagatti, which means "cat killer"). I have to believe some mfs used them to shoot at wild cats killing chickens and rabbits and that's how it got its name (let's be real, it's stupid to shoot at a cat with a shotgun if you don't wanna clean the mess afterwards)
