Another definitive case of ‘less is more’ on the Aston. Guess the next phase was go-faster stripes, 8 track cassette, roof rack, mud guards, leaping Jaguar on the bonnet and furry dice off the mirror!

I enjoyed that video, day in the life . Take off all the rubbish that the previous owner put on , I can’t for the life of me understand why they put an S TYPE badge on an Aston 😮, take it back to its original look , us aston nuts hate aftermarket add ons , beautiful aston I have to say 👌

That must be the most chavved up Vantage I’ve ever seen. What made anyone do that? Those exhaust tips, Jaguar badges and ridiculous vents. “I bought an Aston and wrecked it” Absolute Shocker. Big question, why buy from such a vendor ???

@grahamdaws4775 Tell me about it! Well despite the odd customisation the car is a really nice example and all mods are totally reversible.

It’s not the bad taste but ultimately reversible modifications, it’s what they tell you about the owner, or previous owners and the approach to maintenance and repair. For example, the Vantage S should have a carbon fibre splitter and diffuser. Unless they’ve been painted, this looks like it doesn’t. It’s also sitting too high on its suspension for an S.

just bought an almost identical one , 2017 v8s in volcano red. Yeh lose the bonnet vents, stupid badges, exhaust tips. Wheels back to silver or anthracite. Nice interior colour.

I've never seen a Tornado Red Vantage. Its ok but I do love the black accents both outside and inside. I don't like the hood vents or those extra badges they should be removed (I think you agree). Just curious what model year was this and what was the mileage?

It's not the most common colour but they are out there. As per previous comments, yes the 'tat' has been removed. It's a 2017 car with just under 22k on the clock.

It you’re wandering why there are so many views, there’s a whole thread on Pistonheads talking about how awful this car looks. Hard to image what the previous owner was trying to achieve.

WTH is that? it's been ruined by the previous owner. Jaguar S type badges, a V8 badge on the bonnet, those ridiculous bonnet vents and the exhaust tips ... OMG what a mess. It also looks as though its sitting too high at the back. Sahara tan is OK, I have Kestrel tan in mine and love it.

Definitely, the S types badge and v8 badge has to go, and original bonnets vents would bring back the original look.

Actually, Matt, I have nothing at the moment. I do like a Range Rover but since they have become a target for thieves my trade policy won't even allow me to stock them!! So mostly I drive my daughter's car or whatever has been in stock the longest.
