I Bought An Overland Camping Trailer | Conqueror UEV 490
I bought the coolest overland camping trailer ever made! The Conqueror UEV 490 Extreme. Not sure if I will like dragging a trailer along, but time will tell.
These are built in Africa, and shipped to the US. (At least they were until 2020). A true off road suspension, all metal construction, and room to stand.
In this video I'm just covering what I got myself into, and modifications I'm doing to make this thing better. This is a stripped down version of this camper. No radio, no heat, no TV, just a cool shaped blank slate to modify.

What year of a 490 is this? I just found you. I hope to buy a 490 for my wife and I to tool around in. Our kids are grown and gone. We don't need a full blown camper, but we are avid jeepers and look forward to jeeping and coming back to a base camp. Plus, our years of sleeping on the ground and even a RT are pretty much over.

Its a 2016, the first year they were being imported. If we had kids then I may not have sold it. Very comfortable and very durable. This would be perfect for a little family of adventurers.

Mate appreciate ya time!!. I am about to buy 1 or the 440...im struggling with decision between the 2...love 440's big rear cargo door

For a vehicle as small as mine, the 440 would probably be the better option. These are hard to come by in the US so I took what I could get! I think the size of the 440 might be a bit more ideal for harder trails as well. I don’t think you can go wrong with either, these things are excellent little campers!

@@IndependenceOverland Hey thanks man. Yes there is a lot to be said for being unrestricted. Something equivalent in layout here in Australia is 2400kg...congratulations to Conquerer for conquering the Tare weight and tow limit issues!!😉
