Sounds like a reasonable purchase, especially with no rust, and you will end up with a trustworthy engine and suspension/brakes. Like you say you could not find a gently used perfectly conditioned one, and with minimal updating, you will own a rare edition. It must get great mileage with that engine when it is tuned. I love my VW 19 wagon. It’s an AT DSG. I have it lowered on Eibachs and Rotiforms and some other touches here and there. Some piece of crap sideswiped me and took off during the morning commute. Caused a bunch of cosmetic damage. Just under a $1000. Same as deductible. Anyway, I’m saving up my coins to make some repairs. These kinds of videos just make me feel like just stay focused and eventually I’ll save up the cash and make the repairs. So thanks. 👊🏼
