My oldest daughter told me she wants to live a 90s child life. She asked me how to go about that (I was born in the 80s) and my brain shut down for a second. I was finally able to re-engage my brain and told her "It's simple, turn off all electronics and go outside and play." She hasn't done anything remotely close to this. Lol 😅

so, about 7 or so years ago, I was at my best friends house for a Halloween party. They had a Bop It original (with just the bop, twist and pull). I was sitting in her kitchen, and I was playing the Bop it. At some point, I had zoned completely into the game, and I didn't notice that everyone else was also watching me. The speed increases when you do long streaks. I got to 99 before I fucked up when someone made a loud noise. Apparently, I kept the record on that Bop It until it died. No one was able to beat 99 and I feel like that is my greatest childhood achievement in my adulthood lol

Did y'all know... That Chokers have been worn for Thousands of years? Worn by Sumerians and Egyptians. They became 'infamous' when prostitutes started using them in the 1800s and again, in the early-ish 1900s up to around the 1940s. This is so nostalgic! Easy bake oven was my absolute favourite, I loved to just eat the powdered cake mix raw which wasn't good to do but it tasted so good lmao. When I was younger, my friends and I were playing a punch of spooky games such as light at feather and red door yellow door. After we played those games we played with the Simon says game. The same one in the video, well later on that night it was about four that game turned on and started making the noises. One friend started asking questions and the toy was answering back. I don’t know why I am telling you this but once I saw the toy memories started to flood, and I thought you might enjoy the little fear I have from that game.

Kris grew up around these toys while Caleb and his gang most likely had BB guns, pellet rifles, real rifles, edged weapons, and sticks and rocks. That's what Appalachia boys play with. Only batteries they need is to launch altered Estes attack rockets and explosives.

Fun fact about those rubber poppers. A young physicist guy, who played with those as a child, wanted to make one of his own a few years back. He did, and during the process he was able to visit the inventor of them. The inventor stated that they tried many designs and materials, but when they put that hole in the middle, it would get more height. So, that hole isn't there for air. It somehow makes it bounce higher.

She lives in Texas now. As a Texan, let me explain. That is a Mason jar. Originally used for preserving food, we also use them for drinking out of, especially iced tea. They make them with handles if you really want to be fancy. They are also a common container for moonshine.
