I went out on to Temu and bought some guitar pedals for about $20 each. I wanted to see just how good these pedals are. I don't have super high hopes, but I might be surprised. I bought a boost pedal, a crunch distortion, vintage overdrive, US Dream distortion, Tremolo, Digital Delay, and an Analog Chorus guitar pedal. Let's see how this goes!

I have the first three (Ultimate Drive, Crunch Distortion, and Vintage Overdrive). I like to use both the Overdrive and Crunch together. Normally, you'd put OD in front of Crunch, but these sound great the other way around as well. I have 10 cheap pedals, with the most expensive being a Joyo American Sound in my Sunn Alpha 112r's FX loop. I love cheap pedals!

dude every pedal i have is from temu - and so far i love it - they look sick and also sound good (maybe not ALL technically “good” in the way they’re supposed to but that’s what makes them sound good if that makes any sense at all) that temu texture. i don’t have any from this brand since i was going after the eye catchers which is dumb but whatever they’re all fire so far. idk anyways i’ll probably get the classics and must haves soon but i wanted learn before i spent too much but then got addicted to temu lmao so anyways hope that helps ease some minds. just have fun with the process and even if you get a dud see what you can make with it and sometimes they accidentally give you new ideas

I don't get why, on the 1st pedal sound demo, the ultimate drive, you already had distortion on your amp even before switching the pedal on... Personaly, I'm not looking for a gain boost pedal. I would need to use my amp as clean and need a pedal to switch to distortion. On your sound demos, we have no way to know what is on or not in your signal chain! This is a mostly useless review.

@@HighImpaktAudio I have been a recording studio owner for 17 years and also have perfect pitch(a blessing and a curse!!) The first thing we do before recording is check tuning intonation, fret noise, and loose connections(for hum and clicking). While your guitar was tuned, the intonation however, was way off. I noticed it immediately. With a clean guitar sound most people cannot notice it at all. But the thicker the distortion the more dissonant it becomes. It always makes me cringe. Like nails on a chalkboard. Tuning is about a third of the equation. Also most guitarists tuners are not of the quality and precision needed to meet the first step. Never use a clip on tuner!! The worst. Invest in a high quality strobe tuner if you are serious about music. I was able to finish the video but it was tough a few times. Particularly when you sustained a heavily distorted sensitive interval. Made my skin tingle. Not in a good way. Good luck!!

I was interested, but bailed after seeing him critique four distortion pedals in a row, then mispronounce “tremolo.” C’mon: What about compressors, EQs, and delay devices-things that non-metal guitarists might use? It was the narrow focus and lack of musical knowledge that changed my rating to a Thumbs Down. Maybe he got to this later, but it would also be nice to know about delivery times and service? My experience with ordering directly from China has not been good.
