Its a similar ilk to some Gumball and snack machines, it's sort of aimed at the home arcade/Man Cave market where you might put your own tokens or change in to get something for fun, you could probably set it to free vend with a bit of fettling.

About the cover stoppers for your cup noodles: the larger one would work better in most cases because as you open up the cup you put a roll on that foil. When held down on just one spot the other end might flip up a bit and let out the heat - or when held down at the open tab...both sides would have done so. We had good luck using coasters for the purpose but hey...the style counts!

Well ideally that's how it should be. On this example that wouldn't work (vending systems) and we used to get our hot water from the coffee machine we had And not all the time you'd consume the cup right away and would love to not get dirt into your noodles as you do

I would buy something like this if they automated it some more. Like, make it mechanically open the cup ramen, bring it to the hot water dispenser area, then set the timer, and make a noise when cooked. All with a push of single button, or drop of a single coin. Even if it cost $10,000, if it did those job well, this would be super cool to have. But this right here is just a bulky hot water dispenser thats less useful than a cheap Keurig.

So fun fact: I’m allergic to nuts. Like pretty dang bad. And when I was younger we won this weekly mini completion thing, and we were allowed to pick anything under 5$. I was really hungry I guess so I chose the Curry cup o noodles since there weren’t the OG or beef flavor. I’m like “damn I got cup o noodles for free I’m feelin on top of the world. Instead, I have a few bites of a pretty good cup o noodles, only to realize that my neck was itchy. So apparently, Curry flavored cup o noodles…HAS PEANUTS IN IT. AND THE CONTAINS SECTION WASNT EVEN IN BOLDED/ BIG ENOUGH TEXT TO SEE EASILY. So what turned from a 3$ meal turned into a 200$ trip to the hospital. Thanks cup o noodles you the man.

While not as quirky, a Keurig machine can deliver the perfect amount of hot water to a cup of noodles. Just need to no pod it, but obviously "load" it like normal (open and close it), and select the large cup. Perfect to the line.

I'm kinda of curious why this doesn't work more like a keurig with a piggy bank taped to it. My initial thought of how it works would be; insert coin and push button, cup rolls out and heating element starts, put cup in little door, hit button, cup fills up, timer automatically starts... Now I want one to modify to work like that...

I bought some tiny Naruto capsule noodle cup stoppers from Japan. They’re very useful for 3 minutes of every day, since my lunchtimes are usually ramen or soba noodle cups.

I think those are supposed to be used in convenience stores or something like that. They do that token thing a lot in japan in which they take actual money at the cash registry and in return they give you a token to use on that vending machine. But if you eat cup-o-noodle like 3 times a day, love the vanity of it and have too much money, this is the product for you.

Aki, can you please ask Joey where he got his Mario brothers shirt? I need to buy that for my brother-in-law! And also that cup noodles vending machine is the coolest thing I’ve seen in a long time.!

These were never originally sold, it was a lottery prize from Nissin the winners were sent them free just like the cup noodle robo timers.

Dispensaries all across the USA should have these in the lobby. $3.50 each. We all know they’d be restocking it multiple times per day.

On how I read the title of this video, I thought there was a ramen cup that cost 600$ just chilling inside a Japanese vending machine and Aki bought it💀
