Күн бұрынI got this Nokia Lumia 1520 for a mere $6.77 off eBay. Making this easily the cheapest Nokia Lumia 1520 on eBay. The phone was listed as an Alcatel Idol 4S which is a considerably less valuable phone than the Lumia 1520 hence the price.
I have covered the Lumia 1520 in a full retro style review a few years ago so go check it out!
The Nokia Lumia 1520 is a Windows phone from 2014 which was the flagship Windows phone of that year and the largest Windows phone in terms of size and display size. In that video we will be taking a look at the Nokia Lumia 1520 in 2023 and see if its still usable in its state as of now. We will cover the Lumia 1520 Camera, Lumia 1520 Windows Phone Store, display, battery life, performance and many more and basically anything needed to know in using a Lumia 1520 in 2023! Its also considered as a collectors item at this age and since I am phone collector with a massive phone collection, having this phone was a must.
Like promised, this is the Using the Lumia 1520 in 2023 or Lumia 1520 2023 video that I said I will be doing. This also doubles as Using Windows Phone 10 in 2023, Windows Phone 8.1 In 2023 or Windows Phone in 2023 as well! , as I go in detail with the Windows OS and the situation with the Microsoft Store and everything needed to know about Windows Apps in 2023.

It also ain't no iPhone 14 Pro Max, Google Pixel 6, Lumia 950Xl, Nokia Lumia 1520, Nokia Lumia 1020, Google Pixel 6 Pro, Google Pixel 7 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, Motorola Edge S or OnePlus 11 Pro. Its still definitely an interesting phone even in 2023! So lets take a look at it!

I love the screen size and other specs but mine started having touch issues so I had to go back to my 830.

Ohhh I see, these weren't known for touch issues. Must have been a rare case. Did the touch just fail downright?

@@Techformative557 Huh, thought I read something about it having issues with it a while ago. What was happening was ghost-touch where it would scroll and stuff without me doing anything. Edit: it was supposed to be refurbished and I didn't know why there was rubber near the edges of the screen and maybe I messed it up because I tried to push it back together. I'm thinking it was fine before that.

I have a Nokia Lumia 1520 red color. Its unscathed and looking gorgeous. Actually I stopped using for few years in the middle. I just went back to it to limit phone usage to quite basic. It again feels awesome! I see Dropbox still works, the in-built support for MS Office apps is amazing, amazing screen!

@@deadore your right even though the slimmer bezels look cool and all but KZfaq and Netflix is definitely not enjoyable to watch because if you want full screen with today's screens, it'll crop out a lot of the content

Windows phones were great devices!!! Nokia as well!! Awesome seeing these videos, always gives me the vibes to go charge up my Lumia 640 and 640 XL I also have a Nokia 700 and E5, and an old 3220. Nokia's were really strong phones.

Nice find, love mislabeled things where the seller doesn't care/know what they have. Anyway this is the predecessor to the 950xl … says Wikipedia but only 2GB of RAM. Any idea which Windows Phone had the most RAM? I feel they all struggle a bit when pushing the multitasking to its limits with Continuum. Thanks for your videos. Fun stuff.

You Can Replace AT&t Firmware To Non-AT&T Firmware But If You Have Another 1520 Keep This Lumia On AT&T Firmware

Firmware is not the issue, issue is the AT&T model has no wireless charging pad, the international version has.

While it's true, that this phone might NOT work on US carriers, due to no VoLTE, this phone should _still_ work in many other countries, where 2G and 3G coverage is available there. I recently ordered this phone, and it will work with any Russian carrier without any major issues. Can't 100% confirm, since I'm waiting for it to be shipped out to me, but I will let you know, after it arrives for me. EDIT: Actually, Snapdragon 800 does have LTE support... My bad for not properly looking at the specs...
