JAYZUS! 😲 That would be a 20 grand plus car in the UK. Maybe more. To find one with cruise, air, sports seats and a 25% slipper is pure gold. The missing toolkit thing is the white plastic adaptor for the emergency window crank if the motor fails on the E28 - it has the same tool tray as the E30.

Hi, I am following you from Switzerland. Also owns A 325i Convertible RoyalBlau, last belt drive change, my garage told me it was time to do it, and the belt only had 5 years and 10k kilometers. I guess you cannot see the cracks on belt until you get it in your hands. Very nice car otherwise, with interesting options (big OBD). Have fun!

Regarding the creakiness, it’s the same with my M Roadster. When the top is up, I hear a lot of little creaks here and there. But when the top is down, I hear none of those creaks. The S52 motor drowning out all other noises also helps haha.

I have a 91 325i vert. Auto with tan. Bought off the original owner in 2010. Paid 2000 dollars for it. Had 50k miles. Garage kept, no snow. It’s sitting at 100,000 now. It’s all stock just maintenance items. I daily it most days in the summer. It’s a dream car for me. I’d like to manual swap it. But it’s too nice to molest. I’ve been wanting to sell it but I’m always on the fence. I had the paint touched up in a few spots in 2016. Otherwise it’s original paint.

Car is in exceptional original condition. Love the E30. Wish I would have pulled the trigger years ago when still cheap for a good example. Not anymore…

The car looks mint. Man they don't come along often. I remember my old Datsun 180B I had. 56k kms, mint orange paint and white vinyl roof and I knew every single piece of history on it, I even knew the original owner and his family. Kinda regret selling it. Off-topic but my E12 has a wandering tendency sometimes. The steering doesn't always feel direct and I think it's alignment but I also think it's more than that. Could the steering box be loose or something else? Bushings in the rear? Or do E12s just feel like this? I'm at the point where I actually don't feel all that great driving it, especially when it's wet as I sometimes suddenly need to pull the wheel to one side due to the wandering. Thoughts?

Had timing belt replaced at 12 years instead of 10 as it had only done 45k miles and the replacement miles is at 100k. The mechanic said that the years def have to be taken into consideration too...

got a e34 question. im looking into using my rusty 540/5 touring as a donor for a clean 525i touring. what are my obstacles on this project. i’ve heard people done it before but not finding any proof on it. i’ve heard it’s a direct front & rear subframe swap but wiring is what i need to look out for. anyone reading this comment lmk i’d love to document this & post to facebook as i try complete this swap
