That kid might have mixed the body filler wrong and his creation might have doubled the weight of the car but you have to admit that the metal work is craftsmanship. To do all that in metal, even the bumpers, that takes skill. A lot of skill.

It was actually Mike's step father who built it. His step father restored classic cars. The original build had a hood with a cutout that exposed the cone intake filter. It was a cool car during it's time, but evidently a bit over the top. Mike sold it during highschool and picked up a v6 Mustang. That one stayed stock.

This is literally the most iconic Civic on the internet. I couldnțt have imagined it's THAT impressive. To be made completely of metal and to look THIS good, it's just incredible. I can't even weld a square patch and to think that somebody a lot younger than me built that whole bodykit it's astonishing. I can't believe that's metal and has such wide radiuses and it's even perfectly symmetrical. You really need to fix this. It's a piece of both car culture and internet history. This is THE Civic. The best one. Nothing can compare to this. Needs a fully built turbo'd VTEC and a custom interior.

it would realy be funny to fix this pile of crap into something nice and i bet it would get Tavarish a lot of views on the videos. Its kinda far gone but not gone to the point of no return. Stil it will require a lot of work but eeh. he did do a lot on the Mclaren 675LT. as a kid i can remember that blue car with those crazy mods but to now i know its acctuly all metal that does require some metalworking skill. (sadly they didnt prep the the ather things properly).... Stil i would probaly delete that fuel filler cap on the roof its fuggly apart from the shapes of the modifactions it has on the outside of that hondacivic. would have been nicer to just fit that into 1 of the rear windows as filler zone for fuel. Owh well never had a honda civic but this thing if you look past al its horrible state its in could be nice.

Besides a bit of oddities, design wise this thing is pretty cool. If i had my hands on it I'd probably redo the front bumper a bit and undo the tilted plate insert, the original cone-nose hood that used to be on it was really the worst part, glad its gone. @@moelll Rice mean race inspired. But this car isnt race inspired its just a piece of art. Pretty or ugly is up to your own taste, but it does looks pretty 2000s era and you could even said that if this car was restored to its original form it would be appreciate alot more now than it was before. It could be in a museum or it could be a fun car to go to car meet, a nice conversational starter.

I thought this car was a remake of that original meme but I was very impressed to hear that it’s literally the exact same car in the memes. Don’t even get me started on the metal body work, that’s pure craftsmanship for a teenager

well freddy you have had some great builds on the channel but if I remember correctly your last honda project really didn't seem to come together like the Lamborghini and supra builds. I'm really hoping this one goes much much better otherwise the boostedboiz is going to have another car sitting outside of their garage lol. Good luck can't wait to see what you end up doing with this.

I think the hate for this car started by people who were jelous of craftmanship they couldnt do. It just kept evolving and more and more people with 1 or 2 braincells started hating on it till it became a meme and than it was just cool to hate on it cuz you know, it's a meme... I allways was intreged by the hours of work and effort put into this car. It's defo not my taste but i have to admit that im impressed by the ways the original owner of the car made it stand out of every other " Maxi Tuning" car out there back in the days. Hate is just a meme, most of the people hating on it wouldnt even know how to shape poly or create something out of 4 different bodyparts.

The hate for this car came by the poor taste of the owner... It's from the dark ages of tuning, made by people with way more money than common sense.

@@p.informatico1320 The car came from an time where people did most of their builds them self instead of slapping a set of wheels and lowering on their expensive cars that are bought by the bank, Made by people with less money in their pocket than skills in their hands. You seem to forget that current day mod scene is only alive because these guys did outrageous builds in 2000-2010. If i look at " meets" these days, i either see cars that are on a payoff with rims on a payoff on air on a payoff OR people with no clue what they are doing so they show off ( read ruin the meet by doing burnouts and reving till their shit is on fire ) to get noticed.

Okay, so I think we can all admit that back in the early 2000's, we all would have bullied the owner of this car. However, in 2022, it is unironically a legitimate historic artifact, no one will EVER build something like that again, it is a piece of history that will never be replicated, it is literally like the Pyramids, who knows why it happened, but it did, and for as insane as they are, they are artifacts that deserve to be protected and preserved for all future generations to see the insanity of the creative minds of the early 2000's. Stick with me here, what this is, is an homage to the 1930's and the coachbuilt cars that were driven by the elite, think of the 1938 Hispano-Suiza, or the 1925 Rolls Royce Jonckheere Aerodynamique, and so many other examples, no one can convince me that you looked sane driving one of those back in the 1930's, you looked like a proper crazy person in one of those vehicles, just like you would look like a proper mental patient if you drove that Civic around. Creative geniuses are ALWAYS seen as insane in their time, it's only ever in retrospect do we realize that they did something cool. What I'm saying is, that kid did something special and it deserves to be rebuilt and properly preserved, it might literally be a future classic.
