"I bought this $600 Broyhill Eagle Brooke Gazebo from Big Lots. Unboxing and assembly"
As crazy as it sounds I bought a third gazebo within a week. Assembled it hoping that this would be a keeper. Is it?
Most of the gazebos are manufactured by "sunjoy" group and then branded differently for different stores. I will post a link to a newer model with some cool features as this one is no longer available. Also as an update, the canopy lasted one season only. After being exposed to wind, rain, and sun, when I tried to take it off for the winter the canopy ripped apart and I needed to replace it. Since then we have sold the house and gazebo with it. For our next place, I am really hoping to get something a lot sturdier. It is more money but if I have to replace the canopy every season at $150 in few years I will actually be saving by going with the more expensive one. Here is a link to a potential candidate:
amzn.to/2OW2Ysl
It is an affiliate link so if you do make a purchase I will make a small commission. Thank you for watching and supporting this channel.

I bought one of those on sale at Big Lot spring 2019 and it was great I loved it 🥰 Till today was looking great, but we have a bad snowstorm on February 2021 and the weight of the ice 🧊 made it collapsed 😔the structure still intact I just need to replace the canopy. It looks nice! I ended up getting a much sturdier awning from home depot. We have hurricanes in florida so I got one that could be mounted onto two sides of my house. Also the 4 poles were long enough to put about 4 feet in the ground. It was pricey at about $1600,00 with about $600. Instalation. Im so happy with it though. I bought one of these about 3+ years ago. It is still good. I take the canopy down when snow season starts. By the way, this year Big Lots is now selling replacement canopies for about $100. This year Big Lots/Broyhill has a hardtop gazebo at double the price. I'm hopeful to leave it up all year, but we had 23" of snow in Denver last month and I don't think it could have handled that. I've invested in a heating cable meant for roofs and a snow rake. I look at an article 2021 best gazebos and some had snow load specs. We will see how it goes, if it ever comes in, I 'm still waiting on it.

Some how we can’t get the top to go on. It just will not line up. We’ve turned it in all directions and it doesn’t line up. 😡

Oh, no. Maybe you have a defective unit. It only goes in one way, but if you tried it all you may have to replace it. Looking at the top piece it seems like it would be no difference either way you put poles in, but it is. It is also marked with letters ( unless you bought it used)

Personally I wouldn't mess with these less expensive gazebos. Spend the extra money and get a solid metal model secured to concrete especially with children and pets running around.

I agree. Btw, no kids or animals were harmed during filming this video, lol. Next one will be solid.

It's a rare thing to NOT have some dents and bends in these handy "kits". I just noticed the one I'm putting up (Hampton Bay \ Arrow Gazebo / $99.00/ HOME DEPOT) IS MADE IN CHINA. This is the 2nd one. The 1st had 4 VERY Bent "A" Pillars. The Gal at Customer Service, Could NOT believe the low price we had found "on-line". This is replacing another one of the same size that was at this house when we moved in 10 years ago. We had a "Sun Sail" on it for a little shade so this will be much nicer than the "jerry-rig" setup. I went against my BOYCOTT CHINA PRODUCTS principles to get this but won't do it again. We will be buying Appliances soon and you can bet your bottom dollar.... it will be AMERICAN MADE. (The "China" thing isn't a "conspiracy theory/ IT's a Fact)

Unfortunately most of them will have some damage. i found out the hard way. i hear what you are saying about stuff made in China. Unfortunately I could not find any gazebos that are American made, unless of course you go custom.

This video was filmed 4 years ago with a very primitive set up. I hope new ones are better.
