I agree, you paid a bit too much for it....... in my mind, about £2000 too much........ In my 37 years of driving, I've had 1 Fiat, and 1 other car made by a company owned by Fiat. Back in the day I had a Marea, nice to look at, bought it brand new and it failed it's 1st MOT!!!!!! It didn't last beyond 4 years old. Then there's the other one made by a Fiat company (figured it out yet??) a Ferrari 458....... yippee, a good win on the lottery!!!!! 2 of the biggest f**k ups I ever bought, both spontaneously burst into flames, the Marea when I was on the motorway, 458 when it was parked in a car park!!!!! Anything made by Fiat either blows up, breaks down or torches itself....... terrible cars. residual value is shocking, build quality non existent, parts expensive for what it is. So this car cost just over £2k to buy, will cost another £2k to repair, and it'll be worth about £1500 when finished - - - - - be better off scrapping it
