I'm thinking that whole contraption has to do with the trucks GPS system also known as the Yaw rate sensor. Just a thought That's usually where they are located on, Jeeps,Chrysler, etc. Hope this helps!

I live near this guy so I guess they’re right it’s the stolen mopar capital. I don’t ever steal shit so I don’t think like a thief I should have been more careful with it I guess

My Son wanted one and we bid on 5 different TackHawks with No luck. We are in California and we would bid up to 60k and never won the bid. most were out of state and copart takes a cut and charges 10% on top for out of state or maybe it's only to California, not sure. Transportation was quoted at 4k. For us to win a bid it would have been 68k plus all the fees and transport about 85k. We gave up and bought it gently used for 70k at an Oregon dealership. People overbid and CoPart is taxing on fees.

That may be an obd disconnect, controlled by the relay/switch. That way thieves can’t access your obd port like how you place a start button kill switch.

Battery should never die from a light left on - almost all newer vehicles will automatically shut anything off after 15 mins to preserve the battery.

That box and relay that they connected is for the key fob bypass so whoever stole just can get in and start it up with no problems

That box is a protection system. It’s used so if police who the stolen car to a computer it wouldn’t show on their screen

@@YUH8ING wrong, you can finance through a bank/credit union. Just take out a normal loan, don't say it's for a car cuz your less likely to be approved since it's a copart vehicle
