The targaryens seem like the hardest start. They’d make a really interesting playthrough. Raise up an army to take back dragon stone from your enemies and eradicate the Lannisters and blackfyres

There are a lot of good choices all over the Kingdoms, but House Stark looks like it would be the most interesting of all. There is just so much to do in the North right now: unifying the independent vassal kingdoms, retaking Winterfell, driving the wildlings back beyond the Wall, re-establishing the Night's Watch, as well as _finally_ ousting the ironborn from Flint's Finger and Cape Kraken. As fractured as they are, none of the other regions are in such a state of pure anarchy-meaning that you are not going to run out of opportunities any time soon.

House Stark, rebuild the North, either spank or eradicate the Boltons, ally with house Karstark or House Reed (like how Ned and Howland were friends), kick the iron islands out, rule beyond the wall too but from winterfell. House Tarth is cool too because that character is awesome

Oof, so many interesting choices. I think I have 3 favourites: The Starks of Whiteharbor, the Freys of The Crossing and the Rowans of Goldengrove. Reasoning: - The Starks are a legendary and ancient House, in a time like this perhaps some new legendary rulers will emerge to reclaim ancient glory and power. - The Freys are a powerhungry House, and times of Chaos are prime for them, as Petyr Baelish said, Chaos is a ladder - The Rowans are a proud House, which has a long History but always stood in the Shadow of greater Houses. Now is the Time for them to build their own Legacy and forge their own fortune or fail and fall to become only a memory

I want to throw out a curveball for a playthrough. I suggest playing as one of the lords of the Northlands that is ruled by the Iron Islands. one of those near the neck around Cape Kraken or Flints Cliffs. I think that could be a unique playthrough with the mixed loyalties of both Wolf and Kraken, it allows you to play the North without falling into the Stark trap. Allows you to create something new from almost scratch if that is what you want to do. My vote is for that.

Starks taking back the North seems the most promising. Or a Lannister challenging their house’s villainous reputation to unite the realm. (Though, I guess the Tyrions weren’t so bad.) Anything that’s not so Targaryen focused.

I would really love a stark/lannister run cause they both really have untapped rp Potential, which and would be a breath of fresh air from all those targaryan series. Especially the starks cause i could really see them taking back the north not with warfare but diplomacy cause what sane northerner doesn't want a stark king in the north.

Honestly playing as the three sisters with a unique religion, being like a pirate king and takinng over the eastern islands or parts of the coast seems cool, another cool idea would be to play. Another challenging one would be to play in the tridents mouth as the storm god's reaver. Another option would be to play a house revival, like martells taking back dorne, hightowers goinng back for old town, or the targaryens or blackfyres trying to go back to their old glory.

As a Targ fan, i can't help but wish to see them make a comeback! But i also think Tarth would be a fascinating playthrough, love to see them thrive. I also like the Frey's potential. I think that would be an awesome series, the redemption and rise to power of the Freys.

As for what you're next series should be, I am a real sucker for Island playthrouths, but I think starting as someone as powerful as the Iron Islands is a bit boring. Skagos and Tarth are both in interesting spots, tho they may be mostly tall playthrouths without much room for expansion. Personally I like the Sisters the most with their weird faith and location that let's them go in mutiple directions depending on how things go, or an Ironborn vassal that is a raiding focused character, possibly Far Island because I think it's really cool and never get any attention.

The North, Iron Islands and the Lanisters would all be fun. Try and retake the north with the Stark’s, try and retake the Westerlands and the Iron Throne with the Lanisters and try and reclaim the Riverlands and Kayce with the Greyjoys

The Boltons or the Freys could be fun to play as. Maybe the Ironborn rulers of Flint's Finger declare themselves independent from the Iron Islands and form their own Kingdom.

I think you should play as the Iron Islands next, as its the most different from the previous two playthroughs, and do what you said i.e. conquer and colonise the Western coastline. My other suggestions are House Reyne's Revenge and House Dayne taking Dorne (though Dayne seems a popular choice for RP playthroughs) Also, I had no idea this is where it was all going, great idea bro.

you should play the lannisters it could be fun trying to retake the iron throne since the lannisters do have a pretty good claim on it since they were the kings before the blackfyres invaded

I've been getting caught up on this series for the past... idk, week? & I've been loving it! This scenario is SO. COOL. Once I'm able to get CK3 (& assuming my laptop can handle it w/out melting) I'm for sure gonna try it out!!

Really awesome scenario you set up Stray, so many interesting choices. I would probably say 1: House Stark of Whiteharbor reclaiming Winterfell 2: House Dayne of Starfall 3: House Royce of Runestone i think would be really cool. Then again maybe it's time for some new blood.

Great video, so many high potential playthroughs, for me maybe the boltons becoming kings in the north or maybe tarlys dominating the reach and reunifying the 7 kingdoms

I personally vote for a House Stark run. However, I do also love the idea from @PhosPhryne to do a smaller house in the north, one that has been taken over by the freefolk or House Greyjoy, and work from a different perspective to get back under House Stark and restore them without actually playing through them.

Play Goldengrove, conquer the reach and the westerlands and form an hybrid culture. Also, the daynes called themselves the king of the Torrentine before the were conquered by the Martells so they should be called that.

Mechanically the bay area looks pretty fun. There are enough little counties that if ypor playoing one of the littler factions you can just try to gobble up the other little fish. Plenty of interesting characters. A head of faith to interact with if you share it or take land from if you dont. and there is justa kinda incentivised goal to get all that coastland expansionwise. Anyone there would be fun

I‘d really like seeing Ashmark or Hornvale in the westerlands, the crossing or southstone in the riverlands, Cracklaw point in the crownlands maybe, the rainwood taking storms end perhaps, that storm god ironborn house becoming storm kings and reuniting the stormlands, the marchlands kingdom could be cool, and lastly an uprising in the north from one of the houses under the blackfyre wildlings. Not with house stark returning as kings of winter though, thats boring

I wood play as house martell in dorne take the royne religion and be one more the rulers over dorne or i wood play as house darksea and destroy the theocracie

wounderful work, I'd play as house Dayne or Stark. I have got a question though: How did you manage to give them these special titles? (I know that there are certain decicions like forming Runestone, but whenever I try this, they never have the title of Bronze King and are instead simply called king (or queen)) is there anything I'm missing?

Hey man, any way you could do this without all the dlc stuff? I really like the idea but it would suck to pay that much money for stuff i don’t see being useful. I have the main ones like t&t but the rest doesn’t really change anything

If I get a chance perhaps, it takes quite a bit of time to set up though and I mostly use them for my own games so unfortunately no plans for that right now. Maybe one day I’ll figure out how to make my own submods.

I have two questions. Are you using any mods or playing on vanilla? And how exactly could I play on this map? I saw the file in the video description but I'm wondering if there are any instructions.

Mostly just the base AGOT mod, then fullscreen barbershop and community flavour pack. As for playing the save, you just need to drop that file into your own save game folder, which is usually located in documents/paradox/ck3 (something like that).
