As a dev for CK3AGOT I can confirm that this model of Castamere is not part of the main mod. My guess would be that it is from COW.

@@SilmarilPTthat's just default AGOT. there are very few MAA changes. Use Armies of Westeros if you want more

24:28 theres a big theroy that the reynes are actually decended from the Casterlies with there castle being namer Castermere and all

@Soul_Tomato it also makes sense because of there COA being a lion because it's said When Lann the Clever acquired Casterly Rock he took the Lion Iconography that was already being used and just changed the colors to Lannister Crimson & Gold

@@mementomori771It’s possible since the heraldry matches up, a red lion with gold claws on silver vs a gold lion on red. If a second son were given the seat in the north then they would have changed their banners to differenciate families. Perhaps even to warn about ironborn coming down the coast or guard against the up and coming Hooded Kings of house Banefort. Isn’t it also said that Castamere used to have both silver and gold mines underneath? If they wanted to make a new banner then the silver would make sense.

Just so you know, you can claim artifacts via a plot unlocked in the diplomat skill tree (the one in the left). Then you can challenge the owner for it or simply steal it.

8:35 This is why I always play with a debug/cheat mod even when I'm just playing normally. They're usually compatible with anything, even total conversion mods like AGOT or ATE, and its just flat out better to have more control over the story you want to tell as long as you restrict yourself as much as you feel necessary. Could have either outright just gave yourself Red Rain or even given yourself a claim on the Artifact for a later Artifact War.

I'm of two minds from AGOT in crusader kings. On the one hand it's a lot of genuinely impressive work that I respect a lot, and it's fun for a quick dip. On the other hand, i don't find the world very compelling outside of the initial characters you can play as. I can't quite play it for centuries like AtE or Godherja where the world itself and all of the diversity within it keeps me engaged beyond the initial story beats.

Blackfyre rebellions because it’s probably my favorite stretch of lore. The first real collapse of the Targ dynasty all because some dude couldn’t keep it in his pants and then the idiot legitimizes all his bastards. Plus it has great characters on both sides from Daemon to Breakspear.

Nice choice ! And I do have a quick question, at 18:49 you got into a duel while leading troops. I never have these even in AGOT, somebody know if this new or implemented in the mod yet only if you are leading as a commander ?

Damn your run was smooth. I was playing it yesterday and Tytos died from a heart attack in the beginning of the game and thenTywin took over. After that it immediately triggered an event and he killed my brother in law and then pretty much screwed from that point

You can actually just steal red rain but you need to forge a claim. You can do that at the end of the most left diplomacy tree
