Lol i blew the factory up on accident. There are plenty of tutorials on youtube for this stuff that you can combine into one factory. The main issue for me was making sure machines didn't interfere with each other, like placing things onto platforms it wasn't supposed to.

@@H0iboi I left it running for a while and some lithium piled up. I figured that since I had saved a few hours ago before it piled up, it would be fun to explode it just to see what would happen. So I used explosives to explode it and I died and it auto saved me when I spawned back in and the factory was blown up

This build is so impressive. Now that the update came out you can use tappable plants for carbon and organic. Also to make smelting quicker you can use small furnaces instead of the regural ones.

Damn impressive, astronium fuel lines will solve my soil issue for printing scrap. No more need to manually mine stuff. Great system brother. With trains it will be fully automated to and fro refilling system.

preferably, you should of chosen Atrox to build it on because of gases/ but over all amazing job!

Awesome. But do you have to manually refill the gasses for the chemistry labs? Or is that automated too?

Yes, and no. If you ever run out, which will not be any time soon, you will have to refill the gas. 12 gas containers * 160 gas each = 1920 resources produced before you have to refill.

Alright now set up a track next to the resource cans where you can park up a rover train and individually activate arms to pick the resources you want, then drive that train to a rocket so you can easily carry them off world

Is all of this powered by RTGs? if so thats amazing, and would make sense since you're already making alot of the materials required. would love to set this up in my own world, but that will take a while keep up the good work!

I went over this a little bit in this video: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qqp-bLuex72clp8.html Check out timestamps in description to skip to it. Basically you have to adjust it a little bit as you go along. It's not going to be perfect but you have to follow the curvature of the world I suppose. Really hard to explain and takes a keen eye.

I’ve thought of doing it, but wasn’t committed enough. I did try making a machine that takes resources off a rover and sorts them all. That failed miserably. Maybe you could try making something like that. I’m guessing it wouldn’t be very hard compared to this. (:

Haha, this reminds me of my (much less impressive) soil-to-nanocarbon-alloy farm. :P But I've always had issues with the arms putting stuff in (and taking things out of) your backpack directly. How did you avoid doing that?

Not that long, 6 auto extractors made quick work and it all collects while afk. You use it up slower than you mine it

The only one that I can think of is astronium and scrap. Everything else is able to be traded for and refined into other materials

you gotta pick an angle that looks pretty flat then use the flat tool. Sometimes you have to readjust because of the curvature of the world

I’m working on a set of tutorials right now on how to build this. Basically you can use an auto arm to put it into a medium soil canister
