i feel like a cute challenge would be a sim living in this house, they inherited it from their distant relatives (the ones who are haunting it now) and the sim starts with little money and tries to rebuild/renovate the house to make it into their dream home! maybe if they had like the loner trait and wasn’t allowed to date/marry and had to basically be a complete introvert

I definitely need a story about a couple who dies and haunts this house because they can’t move on, but then a college freshman named chad moves in. Chad is on a full scholarship to foxbury institute, but unfortunately his scholarship doesn’t cover housing, luckily the next town over has this house for sale for a VERY cheap price. Ghosts are scary but student debt is scarier and chad is here to stay Will the ghosts accept their new roommate? Will chad be able to pass his midterm for chemistry while also playing the homecoming football game? Will the ghosts ever move on? Will chad have a romance with one of the mysterious vatore siblings next door? Find out next time!

Actually, in these old victorian homes the bedrooms are generally quite small. So it's pretty accurate!

Kayla should do like a challenge where she builds the house and has her community make the Sims for it and go through the ones she finds the most interesting. Of course people would have to make like stories and stuff in the household descriptions but I still think it would be a really cool thing to do.

More Sims accurate backstory; baby aged into toddler and they were packing away the baby things for a toddler room, stove broke, the more handy sim parent passed while trying to fix it. Other sim couldn’t fix it either and was so sad they couldn’t make any food at all, toddler got removed because of hunger, last remaining sim then ate cowplant’s cake out of desperation.

I have a crazy challenge idea that even I completed from just base game no packs lol. But anyways it is one the biggest possible lot you can get (50x40 I beleive). But here is where it gets hard. Use all 8 floor levels. (4 on top 4 for the basement). You can have a big backyard but the goal is literally just to build a huge mansion. :)

1:50 OR the owners scare off others to make sure they're not the cowplants next meal as it's ghost still haunts the halls as well

Mabey there was a teenager in the office room and when the parents got eaten by the cowplant they took the baby and ran to their grandparents. That's why all the stuff was left behind they were so scared they just took the important stuff.

I think it would be so fun to play a kind of rags to riches kind of game in this house, fixing it up along the way and stuff. Too bad I don't have the werewolf pack lol, if I download this I'll have to replace some things 😅 I love seeing builds where you use all the packs you want and stuff, I'd like it if you did it more often! :)

I love this, it looks great. Another thing you should do is build a haunted hospital. I know you'd do great at that, especially since you did a regular hospital. Make the hospital abandoned. I plan to download this house for sure and I think I'll create a family that has one ghost relative living together. Happy Halloween.

In my vampire world I built a vampire lounge on that one empty lot and named it ‘The Sleepy Bat’ and one of the traits I added too the lot would attract the vampires (also added convivial and the romantic aura one) so they would have something “fun” at least in that empty world lol

I know everyone tells you this Kayla, but you really don't need to limit your packs with YOUR builds! If you want to, do it we don't mind but we love seeing your creativity. It's nice having a few basegame or 1 pack homes every now and then but we love to see when you use all of the packs. Your houses are so much more YOU if that makes sense!

Idea: Age up your home challenge. Build and furnish a home ( any style or decade of home ) And age it to what it would look like dilapidated, condemned, abandoned. Can change floor plan ( within realistic renovations over years. ) Edit: can't change stairs, fireplaces, pools, or shell. ( can add extentions ) ( must be semi recognizable to original build. Compare and contract before and after with a generations storyline )

The baby was put into an orphanage after their parents got eaten, and when they turned eighteen they inherited this old haunted house. And then maybe some beetlejuice stuff happens.

Technically they are only known as gargoyles if they allow water to spout out through the mouth as they are a form of water removal from the building roof. If it’s purely decorative and serves no water purpose then it’s known as a grotesque. A gargoyle got its name from the French to gargle. Little bit of trivia for everyone there.

This is so inspiring and made me come up with so many ideas for the house. My personal favourite is that (because of the paintings and scratched out ones) they were vampires hunters! Great build!

i love to use the wall damage when im building all the time. especially in kids rooms to show some wear behind their science sets and stuff i think is really fun. most of the vampire items are just a little too fancy feeling and dark so i dont use it all the time but the plants are fun too. lots of cool random spooky items to build i love this mansion! and how you set the furniture on sorta odd angles rather than perfects its so fun

Also, add a pool. It looks like the Sims just LOVE going for a swim when tired. Tired Sims swimming tend to die. A LOT ! The previous owners died from various causes. The baby got adopted by a loving family in Oasis Spring.

im only like 2 mins in and i LOVE that u decided to make it livable for sims. it would fun to like. move into this house, give the sims 0 simoleans, then play them having to like, build up the money to slowly renovate and fix it up. obviously in game it wouldn't work for All the details but also its not that hard to like, cheat ur money down 50 simoleans every time u remove one of the crack decals

i love the haunted house theme...and all the cracks and stuff on the walls and floors. i dont have all the packs only like get to work and seasons so some of the builds you do i cant download (its ok i might as time goes on) when sims 5 finally get released.

I'd love to see a pack refresh to the vampire pack that's just updating the world, maybe make a new community lot. Also would love if they made the vacation worlds accessible neighbourhoods now that we can make lots residential or rentals

In the sims 3 I remodeled the Van Gould house to make it look like it was lived in by vampires lol. Took me forever but I loved the way it came out in the end. I feel like the pre-bult houses for any vampires suck and never give off vampire household.

Build idea/ challenge: make the vampire world a vacation world. Make Vlads house into a museum, for some reason I imagine a karaoke bar / lounge… I don’t use this world at ALL so making it a destination would be awesome!

The werewolfs are a big spell gone wrong to off the vampires, so it has sense that their world is friendlier.

Possible lore for this house could be like an Ed and Lorraine Warren story: A husband and wife who are obsessed with occult history and experts in the field decide to set up shop in this creepy town to investigate the vampires, ghosts, and other creepy occurrences. One of their cases goes wrong and they unfortunately (or maybe fortunately in their eyes) die and become ghosts themselves. As time goes on a new young investigator who is obsessed with this couple and their work has spent years trying to discover what happened to them. He/She gets the opportunity to buy the house for a good deal after there had been many failed attempts to sell due to haunting complaints. He/She is shocked when they find out the couple are still living in the house just from "the other side". He/She begins investigating and growing a relationship with the dead investigators and learn more details about all their cases and eventually gain enough trust to learn about what case caused their death. He/She try to then bring closure to the couple by solving the final case themselves with the couples help.

Okay this has given me an idea for my next family. I’m going to get a single sim and move them into this house and give them 0 simoleons, and make her a interior decorator, and she can only renovate this house with stuff she steals from her clients…👀

You should make a house Only using the most expensive item/furniture from each category. Like the most expensive fridge, most expensive kids toys etc.
