Jeez, even your termites are nutty down under.

I was thinking the same. I assumed spiders were the big issue down under. Clearly not!!

Came out very well. I'm glad you said you're adding some ventilation, otherwise the full wrathe of QLD will hit during summer.

Thanks. I would’ve thought being winter here that I’d at least manage the next couple months, but after that door has been closed for 5 minutes it’s unbearable! It’s the next thing on the list

Make woodworking videos great again... Love your work mate and the flow of your video. That could've easily gone another 20 minutes and I'd still be glued. Looking forward to the rest

Envious. I wish I had the room in my workshop to make a small office. It would so convenient. Love what you did with the outside wall. Something different. Looking forward to Part 2. Cheers mate. 👍

Looks good in the middle of redoing my man cave in the back of my shop. Using pallet slats on the walls.

3:12 I think you should have put some really big washers on those anchor bolts to prevent them from pulling through the wood

Masonry bolts would have been better if you wanted it easily removable

Question: I once made a similar all be it, much smaller 'slat' wall in a similar fashion, but within a few months I ditched it because of wood movement making some pretty big gaps. Is there anything you did here to avoid that or is this not going to be a concern?
@RobinLewisMakes13 күн бұрын
Cross fingers if it does happen it’s not too noticeable. Because this is a room within a room I’m not worried about water or air passing through. It also only needs to look good on camera so a few gaps should be ok, unless they’re really bad. But time will tell! I haven’t done this before but hopefully I did it right

Pocket Door ....... small space, small room, pocket door == usability. (I know, you will say insulation, sound suppresion, I say Pocket Door functionality wins). but... I enjoyed the video

Thanks. Hadn't actually thought of that, it would've worked well
