Would you consider updating the Not So Berry Challenge? It doesn't include any packs since 2017. It would be good to have different options for each gen. Then you could choose the original or the new version for each one. Also maybe there should be a basegame only option for each gen. You could mix and match. If you're going to re-play the challenge then it would be a great opportunity to update it. I'm doing this challenge at the moment and my yellow gen is just wrapping up.

Of all the collections, I've always thought that the elements was the easiest to complete, especially if your Sim was a scientist. I have my Sims work on the science table called the chemical analyzer that spits out elements. They can get their "breakthroughs" needed for job advancement at the same time. And then there's Sixam... Being a scientist is the way to go if you are trying to complete the elements collection!

I never realized that the traits for each gen were chosen by the color of the trait. Mind blown

Could you do a series of builds for each NSB generation? I’d love to see it, and lots of people have done Minty houses but there are far fewer for the other Generations. Plus, it’d be super cool to have Official Lilsimsie Builds for your own, super popular legacy challenge!

been playing NSB for awhile now, i’m on generation yellow!! one of the most fun generation challenges i’ve tried. if there ever was an updated one to include the new packs that would be awesome!!

Make the challenge harder, by having the parents move, with all the stuff, once the next gen becomes an adult. So you have to start over, with no money, no items, but a house shell. Then it’s basically a house shell challenge every gen as well. You cannot remove the original outer wall, but you can add to it. You can use spandrils, to open rooms, but not remove any wall ever, that has been an outer wall😊

That's so interesting, in my head, mint is like ONLY green, like a pastel cool toned green. A lot of the colors Kayla picks lean more towards turquoise in my head, but that could be from the lack of swatches to choose from in the sims 4 haha

The Not so Berry challenge actually inspired me to create my own legacy challenge called the Hughes (hues) legacy challenge that incorporated the PS4 trophies as challenges each generation had to accomplish. I only had base game around the time finding out about this challenge and loved the concept of generational asthetic by colour, sooo thanx for that!

Maybe to include a chess table take away the stairs on the back porch and put it there? Also when I made my mint house to keep it in theme I made the child's bedroom mint and red using a rug to tie it in (can't remember which pack sorry). So it started as a nursery mint with red accents, toddler room was pretty even, child red with mint accents, teen just red. I like to think mint did it as a fun thing on a whim and Rose saw it growing up and decided red was their thing (maybe they got fed up with mint everywhere haha)

NSB is the only challenge I’ve done/completed in the sims. It took me two years to do and I was sad when I came to the end of it. I decided to start with Gen Blue work backwards to Mint. I enjoy looking back over my posts in IG of it at how the sims changed and still look similar over the gens.

I've done this challenge twice now ... On gen 8 of my 2nd run. I love it. It is my comfort challenge and I don't find it that difficult?? It is a challenge but totally doable.

Currently on Orange gen in my Not So Berry and loving the challenge. I love this base home, but would have to swap all the rose stuff out for toddler stuff first and add a tub. Looking forward to watching this on stream!!

I just started playing NSB not long ago. I'd love to see an update to it adding in some of the more recent packs.

A really good series to watch of the NSB is Claire Siobhán’s, she’s just started Peach gen. There is a 135 video playlist in her channel and each episode is around 20-30 minutes long… hours of entertainment!

my nsb challenge sims are some of my favorite sims ive ever had. the intensity of the challenge leaves me to get so invested in and attatched to them. shoutout to piper mint, you are my best friend

Before you make an extended version of not so Berry, can you maybe change some things in the original challenge? Bc sometimes the description of the gen doesn’t align with the rules and goals (for example rose gen description gives different vibe, plum gen description says they want to be a professional dancer but there’s no dancing career, orange gen description says they’re bad at being evil but they literally reach top fo criminal career and complete criminal aspiration so that doesn’t make sense). Or maybe can you change some traits bc I get it that it’s cool for the aesthetic that the colours match but it didn’t worked for half of the legacy. 2/3 traits for mint were green and not mint, only one out of three traits for green was actually green (and it was more mint) and in general for many gens the traits didn’t actually match the colours

To complete the Element-Collection you can just use the cloning machine as soon as you get it, clone the hard to get metals and crystals and jut send all the cloned ones in to the goe council. The not as rare ones are usually not that hard to get, since you get all the metals and crystals in the career from co-workers. Just send them in to the geo coulcil and boom - you should get all the non-rare elements.

I'm actually playing Not So Berry right now as my first ever legacy challenge! I don't have all the packs but I just googled "not so berry base game version" and started playing by the first modified set of rules I found, and it's been really enjoyable that way too!

You should try building but you get another pack each time! So the first room is only base game, and then you roll for a pack and can use the pack and base game, and next one you can use both of those packs and base game, so on and so forth!!!

I am doing the Not So Berry Challenge. So far I have had to start the game over without saving when the Mint generation died of old age when I had level 9 logic and one more promotion. I decided it wasn't cheating to use a youth potion because he earned his satisfaction points. The next mishap, I had the Rose generation get back together with his high school girlfriend for the mother of his child. The game decided to give him boy and girl twins. :p. I chose the girl to be yellow generation because the last two ended up being male. I had her come live with her dad after she became a child with the idea that she wasn't getting along with her mom.

I just placed this house last night and created my Mint Gen. I hate the mischief aspects of Sims but am definitely going to try and do this challenge. Only thing I changed was the shower, my Sim said it was like being hit with hail 🙄🤣

BOOOOOOKS then you don´t need the chess table and you can max misschief and logic from home.If you play in a tiny home it will gobe done ridicously fast and if you add the lot traits "peace and quiet"and "study spot" you will get another skill building boost. then when you got some spare elements(or just the whole rack) use "enable emotional aura" and your sim will be focused all the time, if you use the teleshope or the microscope so you get a picture hang it up by the invention constructor andyou will be focused at work (ideal mood).

I actually started playing the NSB challenge for the first time some time ago (Altough with certain changes with mccc to make it go better with short life span) I'm currently on gen 5 and I still remember every day how Mint died 3 times. This challenge is wild
